It’d be nice to think that you and your partner are the only people in your relationship, but sometimes that just isn’t true! In this episode, Candice and Bodé discuss how they navigate the outside forces of their relationship in the form of friends, family, and in-laws.  They discuss why they openly talk about crushes, why you need to be careful about what you say to your friends and whose duty is it if there’s a parent overstepping boundaries?  Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab LINKS: Agape app
This podcast can feel like therapy, but it’s nothing compared to the real thing.  Candice and Bodé share their journeys with therapy; including choosing their therapists and why Bodé is encouraging you, especially if you’re a man, to invest in it.  They also share how their individual therapies have played a massive part in their relationship, how you can’t always counsel your partner or your friends, and why they’re considering going to couples therapy. Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab
On the table this week is early years parenting, but not before Candice and Bodé reveal their celebrity crushes and the reason why Bodé is really feeling himself lately. Candice opens up about the realities of giving birth, the emotions surrounding it and why she is not up for doing it again; and Bodé speaks about how the early presence of a father affects relationships, even as the children grow older.  Plus there’s a discussion on whose responsibility birth control should be, and how masculinity plays a massive factor in some people’s contraception decisions.  Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab LINKS: Fatherhood by Papa B
From sex while dating to sex while married, we’re inviting you into bed this week…  Candice and Bodé are talking about all things sex, body confidence and getting chirpsed. They share the ups and downs of bedroom life from their libido’s while dating to navigating their sex life through kids and marriage.  Candice speaks about her shock around the changes to her sexual appetite; plus Bodé discusses how his confidence around his body affected his feelings towards sex.  And finally…. stick around for the number one reason they think their sex life hasn’t faltered, and what could be key to unlocking yours.  Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab LINKS: Agape app The Principles of Pleasure, Netflix
This episode takes a huge turn within the first minute, so get ready for a real chat about step-parenting, making all your kids feel included, and how your childhood affects who you are as a parent – it’s DEEP guys.  Bodé and Candice share their perspectives on their blended family; Bodé talks about his experience while dating as a dad and cutting off friends who won’t fight for their kids; while Candice points out how you can raise your kids without gender roles, your son may still be obsessed with cars and LEGO.  Plus, the chat turns to discipline, and while this isn’t a bash-a-man podcast, there’s some strong words on this one! Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab
Rhianna and ASAP Rocky’s Vogue cover sparks a deep-dive into masculinity and the alpha male myth… Bodé’s revelations hit a little different, as we hear the tea about female breadwinners. Candice and Bodé also discuss balancing their masculine and feminine energies and their different, yet complementary, skill sets.  Plus, they discuss their blues post-New York, the pressures created by a blip with your mental health and why making the homefront their priority keeps their family and business in check. Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab on socials!
It’s been a while! But we’re back with a new set up, mics, and brand that Papa B has to protect… Candice and Bodé reflect on their first year of marriage, and ultimately what made them exchange rings in the first place.  They also discuss how Bodé knows Candice’s cycle better than she does, and why working on yourself separately is the track to coming together stronger in your relationship.  Follow @candicebrathwaite and @iam_papab
In this episode we turn it over to you, the listeners and answer your questions. The first was How has life outside of London been treating us, the second was how to deal with emotionally unavailble men and the final one was how do we deal with each other after a decade of being together. Expect lots of chuckles and some strong language
And we're back. In this episode we discuss Love, Relationships, Couple Goals and how we view the current dating landscape.
It's time for season 4 Baby! What has 2021 taught you? by Candice Brathwaite
In this episode, we wonder if it is time to cancel, cancel culture. Papa B quit his job and we talk about what is next. We also answer some questions.
And we are back! And what a time it is. Admittedly not most of it is positive. Yet another Black man has been murdered by a cop. George Floyd suffered for nine minutes and the entire world was watching. His murder has led to global protests and we find ourselves at somewhat of a tipping point. Could this be the beginning of a change? Who knows. We do hope you enjoy this episode.
What's popping gang? Happy New Year and that! We are back with season 3 and are so happy to share space with you. This is a jam-packed episode where we talk about Meghan and Harry's brilliant plans to say deuces to the empire, Wiley and Stormzy's back and forth, the sadness that is the Australian bush fires and much much more.
Hey Ya'll! It's the last episode of 2019 and it's the most ratchet of them all! Prepare for all the giggles and gasps as we talk about Kevin Hart's new documentary, Stormzy, Drake, Manifestation and much much more! See ya in the next decade kids!
And we're back! What a wild few weeks it's been. But we are very delighted to be back. This week's episode is jam-packed with truths and laughs. Would you date your friend's ex? Are you ready for election week? What is the black person's role in dismantling white supremacy? + MUCH MORE
What a brilliant episode this is! Papa B decided to ask if people would ever stay with someone who has cheated on them, I talk about Coleen Rooney and Rebecca Vardy, we both open up about when we first met and we finish speaking on the sad state of crime which primarily sees black boys as it's victims. As ever we are so grateful for all of the listens and love. It means a lot!
And we are back! Oh how we've missed this! This week's episode is full to the brim. We talk about the Botham Jean case and wonder if black people are too forgiving, we talk about the smacking ban in Scotland, the brilliant Top Boy reboot and much much more!
What a jam-packed episode we have for you today! With Jay-Z announcing that he has put money into the NFL,, we ask whether his input is a business deal or a long game choice which will help the NFL support black players. The big, big Home Office thought it would be a great idea to try and target the 'at risk' youth by putting messages in chicken boxes. We discuss the fuckery. And lastly, we watched the jaw-dropping 'Free Meek' documentary which outlines his unfair journey with the American (in)justice system, as ever we appreciate all the love, so don't forget to drop a review should the spirit move you. Papa B & Candice x
Hi Guys, This episode is a little different and goes on to reflect what we are currently dealing with. We must reiterate that we aren't financial advisors or mortgage brokers so please don't take our advice without doing your own research. I've got into arrears with lunch money several times (he's in year 4) and thankfully at least in our school they do still feed him. I've just downloaded Cast Box to listen to this as I missed bits during the LIVE on Sunday night x

I love this podcast! I can’t tune in to the IG live so I live that I can still have it :) Candice and Papa B seem to be the type of people that I love hanging out with and the way they interact sounds like #relationshipGoals to me. Also, I absolutely adore the fact that the topics they cover are serious, interesting ones, the ones that will make you think and reconsider stuff in your life. It is definitely a high point in my week.
