Many of us interpret this silence as an indication that something is wrong; we’re boring, they’re boring, someone’s uncomfortable, there’s nothing else to talk about, etc. But the reality is that silence can not only be pleasurable, but also a useful tool when making conversation with people, especially ones you don’t know very well. The idea of a life of freedom and independence has become increasingly popular in recent years… and for good reason. Less drama, less compromise, fewer sacrifices, no heartbreak… there are (and have always been) tons of reasons not to get involved in a committed relationship. But is it possible that avoiding this commitment could actually be the worst thing for your life in the long run? Perhaps choosing to commit to someone is, on some level, an act of self-preservation. This leads to a bit of unnecessary conflict in their relationship and leaves the mother wondering, “Am I the asshole?”-Timestamps:0:00 Intro0:46 Reading & explaining the story12:26 Reading the story (uninterrupted)14:57 Responses on Reddit20:04 What would you do?-If you love this podcast and want to show some support, click here 👉 https://patreon.com/realenglishradioDownload my e-book Mastering English with Podcasts 👉 https://rb.gy/kgh1oContact me anytime 👉 https://www.tonykaizen.com/ Hosted on Acast. Thank you a lot. I can learn a variety of expressions through your radio. I hope your journey safe and sound.
I'm learning from you bro, you're such a great teacher.
It was the most deep and heartfelt article ever written regarding girls issues in thesedays society. Even me as a girl was amazed by all the things I've heard in this episode. I sort of feel like I have reviewed my whole life again in terms of how it's been like to be a girl. and I can't agree more with dissociations of my real desires as a girl. I'm constantly going around saying I don't need affection, love, someone who wants me or desires me as though it's a symbol of a weak girl, which is completely untrue. I can be a strong, confident, self dependent girl, yet want all of that. Because I am a GIRL!! but it seems society does not perceive it in the same way. That's a shame...
I love you so much the wisest man I've ever seen 😭
