After a 15 year hiatus, four studio albums and a split album with good friends Belvedere, Downway, out of Calgary, made their return with their latest album “Last Chance for More Regrets”, released in 2019. The band has most recently toured Europe last year, as well as Japan. In this episode you’ll hear about the early days of Downway during the era of Deville, Chixdiggit and Belvedere. No stranger to the OntarioPunk scene, we sit down and catch up with Shane Told of Silverstein. We kick things off to see how their new 11th studio album is coming along, which was recorded in Joshua Tree, California. We also dive back into the early 2000’s before Silverstein first got signed to Victory, the scene in Burlington, and could there be an Oshawa show in the works? They have a big 25 years coming up next year too.

Long time Oshawa punk rocker Michael McDermott and Calgary drum expert Jeff Towers joins us on this weeks episode. Michael discusses the current scene and some of his favourite indie bands. Jeff is here to talk about bands he has worked with, and his three stops in Ontario for his Drum Clinic at the end of May.
