After an unplanned hiatus resulting from life's unpredictability, We return to discuss Dan Simmons' Hyperion: A series of interwoven tales surrounding a group of interstellar travelers to the enigmatic planet of Hyperion.
The party hears a woman's seeming cry for help and discover goatlings harasing her. After dispatching the goalings the party learns that she is more than she seems. They learn some valuable information and some not so valuable information.
The Heroes of Prophecy find themselves in the Necropolis of Telamok the Tombs of the DragonLords. Spiros and Ceopheles paid respects to their fallen comrades. Tears were shed and a new trust was broken in an old relationship.
Face to face with the guardians of the forge and the an army of foes from the depths of the mines. Katelyn shows the heroes of prophecy what a bard can do.
Charged by the God of the Forge Volkan, the heroes of prophecy delve deep into the mountains on a mission to relight the forge.
The Heroes of Prophecy delve deeper into the mines; kicking death dog statues and taking cockatrice heads.They uncover the fight that they have been waiting for is already finished?!
Our Party ventures underground in persuit of the missing centaurs. We find them as they are being tortured and prepared for eating by a group of lizardfolk. Will our party be able to save them all.
Mox had a heart to heart with his father, and the party went to see the god of the forge, Vulkan, regarding the revived map to the mirthril mines. Oh and Ochmos decided to challenge the God of the Forge to a makers battle.
The Heroes return the Horn of Balmytria to its proper place, and return to the Palace of Pythor. Who is still throwing a wild rager celebrating the sparing of his daughter, and the heroes decide that they can celebrate by beating the shit out of each other and betting on themselves. Mox has a bigger battle in mind.
After helping the youths previuously trapped by the Dryad the Heroes of Legend are ambushed by centaurs who are loyal to Sidon. These centaurs attempt to take down the party, Mox shows them that they are out of their league.
Reaching an agreement with the dryad who in exchange for information will be allowed to complete the ritual she had intended to complete from the start.
Deep in the mossy temple, our party frees a number of the imprisoned youths. We encounter a dryad who holds the dragonriders responsible for all the war crimes committed during The War 500 years ago.
What began as trailing a group of goatmen to recover the Horn of Balmytria, eneded up with our party finding a group of young humans that appear to be kept prisoner. Inside we come face to face with a creature that may have some answers.
S3E9: After fighting of assassins and delivering Braccus to take the place of Pythor's daughter as a human sacrifice. The Heroes party with Pythor and receive some cool gifts. Following the revelry the party heads to the Tomb of Balmytria to pay their respects and find that it has been stolen.
S3E8: Convinced that they have a plan to save Pythor's daughter (Mox's half sister) the party decide to set up watch in the dungeons. Things seem to be going smoothly until someone has a different set of plans.
S3E7: Our group leaves the home of the Oracle with a prisoner in tow and on the path to prove themselves to be the prophesied heroes. The party heads to the court of Mox's father, who just happens to be Pythor the god of battle. Who is not in the best of moods.
S3E6: The Oracle is held in the clutches of a Sea Hag who was ordered to abduct her at the order of her father Sydon the Lord of Storms. The group begins to uncover a plot that is much larger than it seems.
s3e5: On a mission to save the oracle, the group finds the acolytes held at the tip of a blade. The mercenaries demand the surrender from our heroes, but shocking to no one they do not.
S3E4: Following the vanquishing of the giant boar our party receives an urgent cry for help from the oracle. Dropping everything our party makes haste to the cave of the oracle. (Note: a glitch in audio recording resulted in lower quality audio for this episode.)
Episode 3: In hopes to begin fulfilling their destiny, and because Kaitlyn told them to, our unusual group head out to face a giant intelligent boar. This boar has taken to terrorizing the countryside, and has developed a joy of killing. Definitely an excellent place to start.
