When you commit to coming authentically to God with your needs, requests and desires, you will learn to trust that He listens and responds. In week 1 of Open Doors, Pastor Naeem will help you move past insecurities to stop praying small and expect immeasurably more for a God who can do more than you can ask or imagine. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Do you feel lost this Christmas? Maybe you’ve lost a relationship, trust in leadership, hope in humanity or even your faith. There’s comfort in remembering that God knows exactly where you are because he will pause everything to find you. You matter that much to him.Through the stories of Simeon and Anna in Luke 2, this message will help you see how loss is not the end of your story. Fear can do a lot of things. It can overtake our thoughts, cause us to live anxious lives and influence the way we show up in the world. But as much as fear may try to promise us safety, what it really does is assert its control over our lives. Using King Herod’s toxic masculinity as a leadership example, this message will show you how the things and people who need you to report back, comply or appease them are actually operating from a controlling, constrictive, fear based model. Learn how following Jesus invites you into a much more freeing, peaceful life. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. The Western version of the Christmas story has been made bright and shiny. But it’s the story of a Middle Eastern family, with their own family drama and broken relationships - where Mary and Joseph were rejected by the people who should have loved them the most. If you feel alone, overlooked or disregarded from your own family, God is not leaving you alone. Just as he spoke to the shepherds about the birth of Jesus, he is preparing a new family for you. This message will help you find the light that will diminish your dark night of the soul. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. At one point, you believed that shining your light would make a difference. Do you still? Are you afraid your light has gone out or all but dimmed? The light within you comes from Jesus so can’t be hidden. It’s a light that disturbs the darkness. In week 1 of “This Little Light of Mine,” Pastor Naeem will help you understand what it means to carry the light of Christ in a dark world. If you’ve felt stuck, discouraged or unsure of what God is doing in your life, this message will illuminate where God is in your life and invite you to step into what he’s doing. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Have you ever been judged, misunderstood or received pushback for trying to do the right thing? When your intentions are questioned and your faith is criticized, it can feel isolating, heavy and unfair. The teachings of Jesus prepare us for moments like these and show us how to stand firm without losing heart. In week 8 of God Bless You, Pastor Naeem wraps the series by unpacking what Jesus meant when he said “God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right” in Matthew 5:10. If you’re tired of feeling misunderstood or discouraged in your faith, this message will help you stay faithful through resistance to find the blessing on the other side of the struggle. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. In Christianity, peace is often shown in niceties and conflict avoidance. But when Jesus said blessed are the peacemakers, it was about more than a passive strategy for keeping the peace. It’s a call for children of God to look and act like their father when they show up in the world. Whether you’re looking for inner peace, peace in relationships with other people or you’re ready to create peace for the vulnerable, this message will help you tap into God’s supernatural peace that transcends all understanding. Because being a peacekeeper might be built on good words, but being a peacemaker is evidenced by good works. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Purity isn’t about legalism, performance or pressure. It’s about pursuing the things of Jesus in a world that rewards your image, strategy, self-promotion and success. Being a Christian isn’t about achieving perfection, but living with integrity, honesty, sincerity and an undivided life before God. Pastor Rasool Berry from The Bridge Church in Brooklyn joined us to unpack “Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.” This message will help you show up without manipulation, hidden agenda or the need to impress so you can see God - and yourself - with the clarity of clear eyes. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Mercy doesn’t make sense because no matter how much you give away, you always have more than you need. That’s because mercy is manufactured by God and he gives it to us fresh every morning. If you struggle to forgive, extend grace or have mercy for others, this message is for you. Learn to mirror mercy, break the cycle of sin and make room for more in week 5 of our series, “God Bless You." ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Have you ever thought “Why do I bother?” or “Why do I even waste my time?” when it comes to being a good person? The hope you can hold on to is the promise of Jesus that people who do the right thing will be fulfilled. In Week 4 of God Bless You, Pastor Naeem breaks down what it means to hunger and thirst for righteousness in such a way that our desires truly align with God’s.    This message will encourage you to not grow weary in doing good even as you combat bitterness against the wicked. You will learn how to do right by yourself (honesty), be right with God (integrity) and want right for others (justice). When you commit to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly, God will reveal a faithfulness that sustains.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. The world will try and convince you to flex, be aggressive and do whatever it takes to be on top. It says push harder, shout louder and prove your worth to get what you want because meekness is weakness. But nice guys don’t finish last and kindness will always take you further than being a bully. Jesus shows us that being meek is operating in a different kind of strength.   If you’re exhausted from constantly trying to prove yourself, this message will help you walk confidently in your identity in Christ, release the need to feed your ego with external validation and learn to restrain the strength within you.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. When things go wrong, can you admit that you blame God? If it’s his job to fix things and keep bad things from happening, he’s due for a performance review. But what if the God we serve exists to do more than give us what we desire and need? What if the God of Christianity desires to be close in our losses? Sadness, crying and grief are not signs of weakness. They’re characteristics we see in Jesus Christ and healthy parts of mourning. It’s only when we allow ourselves to be weak and feel our feelings that we can experience the divine comfort of God - and learn what it means to provide it to others.   This message on week 2 of “God Bless You” covers “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted” from the Beatitudes in Matthew 5.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. God bless you is more than something we say when someone sneezes, it’s what we’re meant to live out. The beatitudes are a list of blessings that Jesus describes in the Sermon on the Mount but they aren’t blessings we need to strive for, they’re blessings to embody.    In Week 1 of God Bless You, Pastor Naeem unpacks what it means to be poor in spirit so we can inherit the kingdom of heaven by stepping into our responsibilities, rights and privileges as Christ followers. Being a Christian isn’t just about being #blessed - it’s about blessing, not burdening, the people around us.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. In the final week of The Book of James, Pastor Kristin unpacks James’ closing words to the early church - words that still speak directly to us today. This message exposes the temptation of power that can creep into faith, and calls us back to unity, humility, and the kind of spiritual maturity that only grows in community. If you’ve been wandering from God, questioning what’s real, or wondering if Christianity is still centered on Jesus, this message will remind you: hope isn’t lost. You can trust again. And with God, you have the power to change what’s possible.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. James isn’t just talking to Christians, he’s shaking us awake. Comparison is trying to convince you to fight battles you were never meant to fight. Pride is telling you to strive for success, wealth and power. Control is tricking you into believing you have the right to judge other believers.   But when worldly promises still leave you empty, James 4 teaches that humility isn’t weakness. Surrendering to God really is the only way to spiritual fulfillment.    ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. Has your mouth ever gotten you in trouble? Maybe someone didn’t like what you said or your words were taken out of context. Words can heal, hurt or get you cancelled. While we can’t control how someone else receives our words, we do have the power to use them wisely.   James 3 encourages us to ask if our words reveal a life of worship or of Christian hypocrisy. This message by Pastor Naeem Fazal will teach you how your words can create a world you, and the people around you, want to live in. It will help you choose purity over manipulation, peace over conflict, gentleness over harshness and humility over pride so you can be a person who bears good fruit instead of just adding your voice to the noise.   ———————   Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. When you say one thing but do another, you become a hypocrite. When Christians say they have faith in Jesus but it’s not evidenced in how they live, it damages the witness of The Church. James 2 teaches the importance of moving past saying the right things and speaking about Jesus to live lives that actually look like him. This message will challenge you to grow in spiritual maturity as you confront favoritism, learn to love your enemies as your neighbors and combat the evil that seeks to divide and discriminate. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. “With Jesus, nothing hurts” isn’t a Christian promise. In fact, Jesus warned that in this world, we will have trouble. His brother James gave further instruction on what to do when it happens. This message on James 1 will help you investigate your trials so you can do what God has shown you, even when it’s hard. Because aging happens all on it's own, but growing in maturity takes your participation. For the next 5 weeks, we’ll go through the book of James, 1 chapter per week. We’d love to have you join us by reading the chapter on your own during the week so we can study it together. Are you tempted to go into church late and skip the music part just to avoid being awkward? There’s good news for you: worship isn’t about your pitch, it’s about your posture.
