Walking by faith and not by sight does not mean that we are blind, but that we choose to put our confidence in God’s perfect plans rather than rely on what we can see with our own two eyes. Abraham’s journey begins with a call to leave everything he knows and trusts behind. Could you do the same?

Far too often, we build our lives around the question we first heard as little kids…”What do you want to be when you grow up?” This can send us spiraling into comparison and fear as we build our identity around our career and allow our paycheck to determine the promises of God. But what happens when we view our careers as just the setting for a much greater purpose? Let’s find out!

Relationships shape who we are and who we’re becoming. But without healthy boundaries, they can also pull us away from God’s best. Red Flags: Healthy Boundaries for Holy Living explores how to recognize warning signs, set God-honoring limits, and cultivate holiness to be better equipped for ALL of life’s relationships. Spot the red flags. Set the boundaries. Live in God’s freedom.

God has called his followers to something greater, but that can be terrifying to let sink and sometimes impossible (at least it seems) to figure out how to live it out. Paul writes two compelling letters to his partner in ministry, friend, and spiritual son, Timothy, that exemplify how to accomplish the greater things God calls us to. It may have started as “To Timothy” but it is really to all of us!

Our modern culture is dripping with deception and sin. We call good, evil and evil, good. If we are going to resist the lies of the enemy and the temptations of this world, we must find our strength in the anchoring word of God. Pastor John Beaken took us into the back part of 1 Timothy 4, which encourages Timothy (and us) to not be sheepish because of our age. Our Young Adult Coordinator, Alaina Jenkins takes us into week two of our series "To Timothy: Something Greater," diving into 1 Timothy 2:8-15. As we look at topics like modesty, women in ministry, and creation, we see that God has called his followers to something greater, but that can be terrifying to let sink in and sometimes impossible (at least it seems) to figure out how to live it out.
