8a: An outing for Dad

2024-06-1423:26

With a little help from Hall of Famers, a golf outing continues today because of a passion of one dad who continues to make an impact. A big hour including Erik's very cool piece on a golf outing made for dad, a Dutch Roll manuever, and Pancake's Breakfast Special dedicated to Dad
Is that a compliment or a dig? Must be true since Bill Schroeder is celebrating 30 years behind the mic tonight! Also this hour, Trump's comments on Milwaukee and what he really meant, and Mark Tauscher talks about the Love contract and what the market is dictating for Green Bay's main guy under center
Mark Tauscher joins the show and we talk about the Love contract. Is waiting to get this done hurting the Packers? Tausch gives us the closest look in the business side of mega contracts, especially for the pivital part of any football roster, the Quarterback.
Brewers 360 with Bill ‘Rock’ Schroeder who will celebrate his milestone of 30 years behind the broadcast mic calling play-by-play for the Brewers. A career full of legacy and amazing moments, both behind the plate and behind the mic. Authenticity is what makes Rock stand out behind the mic and he discusses
Yeah I'll pass on the 'dutch roll' please. A check in on MPS this hour, a Summerfest sound check, a look at what is taking Jordan Love's contract so long to locked down with Gabe Neitzel,
Gabe Neitzel joins the program and we talk about money in college sports – this time, renaming conferences based on sponsorship money. The Big 12 could apparently be changed to the ‘All State Conference’ - woof. Gabe Neitzel talks about the fast moving money in the college landscape. Speaking of money, JOrdan Love still hasn’t signed to an extension, and the longer the Packers wait, the more QBs that are getting P.A.I.D Paid. Are the Packers losing out on saving on a deal by waiting to sign Love as the contracts get even bigger by the day?
Erik's fantastic piece about a family who had a dad that loved his family, and loved golf. A dad with T1 Diabetes who gave everything his all. His kids loved it so much, they created a golf outing. Well what started as an outing with just a few participants with a ‘bulldog’, and eventually had the likes of Robin Yount, Olympians, and other Hall of Famers. A great Father’s Day story 06/13

An incredible Father's Day Story put together by Erik Bilstad about a group of brothers, a round of golf, all centered around Dad
The only ones yelling turkey, hopefully, are the local bowling alleys who are trying to save themselves from the uber expensive conglomerate bowling companies who are swallowing up the local scene. Everything is more expensive and small businesses have suffered from conglomerates stealing the market. One of those small businesses? Bowling alleys. Mike Spaulding spoke with head of PBA in Wisconsin to discuss the price point of bowling, the popularity that is actually growing, and how local alleys can combat the conglomerate such as AMF & Bowlero which is making bowling less accessible.

7a: In Too Deep

And it isn't a cartoon either. A full hour including more on the MPS board member recall effort. We've got protests everywhere! Why more now than ever? Brewers 360 with Brewers GM Matt Arnold talking about the life of baseballs in 2024. And Mark Tauscher is relieved we didn't have to have this happen to us...again, when it comes to our QB
Thank goodness we don’t have to deal with this” - That’s Mark Tauscher’s, and every Packers fans’ mindset as they hear Aaron Rodgers isn’t at Jets Mandatory Mini Camp. Is this a big deal? Is an absence of a QB noticed by teammates?
Are baseballs dead? Remember the juice’d balls of 2021? Do we have another baseball controversy? We ask that question to GM Matt Arnold who is our Brewers 360 guest on Thursdays. We cover Matt’s stress habits during games that get close in the late innings, as well as what a best standard practice is for a bat being stuck in the net above a dugout.
The Summer of Protests

The Summer of Protests

2024-06-1303:45

Protests everywhere! College campuses, candidate rallys, sporting events, art museums? Is this the Summer of protests? We discuss protesting and the methodology of some of these protests? Obviously to go viral, but is that why protesting is becoming more popular? We discuss.
Yes, more attention on that guy. We bring plenty of attention to the day's biggest stories including the latest on an MPS board position recall, a really cool piece by Mike Spaulding reviewing the conglomeration of bowling alleys, our Everyday Hero has a watery rescue, and Jen Lada, Around the Horn champion, takes us through the latest beef in sports.
Jen Lada joins the show coming off her Around The Horn debut and subsequent victory! We go over the win before talking about two perpetual winners Joey Chestnut & Kobayashi who will be competing against each other in an exclusive Netflix event. This coming off the heels of Chestnut’s ban from Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest for endorsing a competitor.
Everyday Hero! A man who was fishing made sure this elderly man didn’t swim with the fishes he was trying to catch. A man who noticed a car that drove in to the lake, sprinted towards the car, and saved the driver's life as the car was quickly sinking.
A show-wide theme with lots of answers. Does your suggestion make the cut? We start the hour with RTDNA President & CEO Dan Shelley who talks about the status of journalism, and the future of journalism as we know it. Plus, previewing the sentence of Hunter Biden for his gun charges. And of course this generation's 'OJ trial'
