Description

Bruce Lee famously said, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." We are 2 lads who will be practising different kicks each week from history, travel, gossip, economics... you name it...we might just discuss it.

This should have been uploaded on The Big Day but I was bed bound with flu.
We tackle the big questions of the week: should the so called World's Most Dangerous Dog be banned? And why do so many haters and losers have a problem with the great game of rugby?

We are privileged to be joined by Tokyo Olympian and pro boxer Emmett Brennan OLY (to give him his proper title) to talk about making the Irish Olympic team at 30, losing 8 national finals in a row but having the strength to come back and win the 9th, running a successful business and trying to have a life in between it all.   A must listen for any Irish boxing fans - Emmett also has his tarots read and manages to convince Peter to sign up to his classes...    BUY TICKETS FOR HIS FIGHT- SEP 16th   Tickets Conlan Boxing & McEleney Promotions - McKenna V Esposito, Dublin | Sat, 16 Sept 2023, 15:00 | Ticketmaster IE
With Pete sick all week all we can muster is the brief conclusuion of his lukewarmly recieved Ryan Tubridy series, as RTE this evening drew a line under the much maligned broadcaster's career @ Montrose   Big things coming next week!
Exciting news as our long promised 3rd mic has arrived, the only man to be the guinea pig for its first outing is Locky of Pattern barber, who was so well received last time. We throw him staight into the deep end with some of the most controversial topics of the day, which he handles with suprising sensitivity. Also Pete makes his debut as a DJ.. and as usual is spewing bile about the Guinness Guru.   Enjoy
Peter has been busy since we last spoke, managing to make the national press and the New York Post no less with a barely believable ''trip to Lourdes'' with his ''kids''... listen in for the full shocking story. We also pay tribute to the late Sinead O'Connor.. and also read out the most outragous email we have ever receieved in this packed show. Plus some bonus-tarot-reading-baloney.   ENJOY
FINALLY We are both back from holiday after a long month of rest and relaxation. What we planned to be a purely comedic podcast was derailed by the sad events on Store St last week which had to be addressed.. as well as public safety in the capital in general. On a ligter note we talk about the two most anticipated cinema releases since Covid.. and also look back on our travels. Peter seems to have caught a fatal dose of wanderlust.
On the eve of Jame's return Peter hops into the booth solo one last time to preview Ireland's maiden apperance at the Women's World Cup
