Welcome to the multi-award-nominated Minds Never Matter Podcast!
We're a group of five friends running a narrative-driven homebrew campaign based on 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons. Our current campaign follows four budding adventurers: Emilia Victosolis, the Paladin noble with a not-so-heart of gold; Pogo Stardust, the hard-working Barbarian doing his best to become a Wizard; Cecily Belghriom, a bubbly Cleric with the same vibe as a homeschooled church fanatic; and Sartheleon Grey, the charmingly self-centered Rogue with more problems than his aim with a dagger as they take on one of the most stressful challenges of their lives: becoming college students.
Taking place on the continent Divitotum, comprised of seven unified regions, our party comes together after being enrolled in the Adventuring College of Elona, the center most region in Divitotum. The college is known for training some of the top adventurers in the world, and each of our "heroes" have their own motivations and reasons for coming to the school as freshman. As the four begin to bond as a party and get used to their newfound independence at the school, weird things start happening that may indicate there's a much larger threat than midterms looming on campus.

Welcome to the Minds Never Matter Podcast!In session five, the party decide to travel by train to Laxor to investigate the secret message (ransom note?) left behind at the scene of Cook's kidnapping after the party ran to Emilia's dorm room to hide from the authorities to complete their somewhat successful heist. While hiding out in her dorm, they realize Frederic has become way less of a jerk than he was before after seemingly swearing an Oath of his own. After a wild night at the local tavern, the party realizes that the quaint, carb-heavy village of Etta veers into... uncanny territory. In session 9, the party finally make it to dinner at Mayor Marion's manor along with the rest of the townsfolk in Etta. Sartheleon and Emilia sneak off to attempt a stealthy rendezvous, resulting in a major misunderstanding regarding the status of the relationship (and Emilia’s marriage). Attempting to salvage the night, Cecily tries to pull everyone into a game of “Zone of Truth or Dare”, but things take a dark twist after a series of questions about the villagers involvement with Cook’s disappearance takes a violent turn. After the life-or-death battle against Mayor Merrian – who secretly worshiped the Old God Niaute – and his wood-golems-turned-villagers, Emilia heals Cecily after going down in battle, Sartheleon interrogates Jack to see if he knew the dark secrets lurking below the surface of the town, and Pogo finds a container filled with an endless amount of mayonnaise. In their search, our eccentric troupe confirms that Cook is, in fact, still missing. In our 11th session, the party finally make their return to Elona and catch-up on all the things they left behind when looking for Cook. Pogo finally scores his first date with Petra, and learns a brand-new wizarding trick in the process; Cecily settles in to make soup for everyone and finally makes it to the nurse's office on Juno's orders; and Sartheleon and Emilia patch things up and deepen the bond they've built after their failed heist. In our 12th session, Emilia and Cecily have an impromptu training session to spar, which causes Emilia to learn brand-new things about herself with ancient, ominous implications relating to her family history, and has Cecily questioning the well-being of those around her. In session 16, Pogo and Cecily head back to campus after fending off the monster plant in the mall and catch up with Emilia and Sartheleon in just in time to attend the History department's assembly. After getting the opportunity to see some of these legendary artifacts in person, something strange happens as Emilia's body and mind begins to connect with a mysterious pair of gauntlets on display. On the eve of the long-awaited Family Day, Pogo surprises his party members with special gifts catered to their personalities. As the festivities officially kick off, the party is finally reunited with their family members for the first time since leaving to attend ACE. In our 17th session, the History Exhibition kicks off to celebrate Family Day. To nobody's surprise, Cecily's twin brothers interrupt the ceremonies with a special game show with the best of intentions. Meanwhile, Emilia begins to hear the voices of a bygone era call out to her; Sartheleon is ordered to do something that puts everyone in danger, and Pogo tries to figure out what he would do if Cecily turned into a worm. Today we move away from our "Not-Quite-Heroes" at ACE to instead peer into the happenings elsewhere in the vast continent of Divitotum. In this dramatized short story, we take a look at a priest from the Church of Ghriom waking up in a cold prison cell. Unable to identify his captors, he tries to commune with the divine only to be interrupted by a mysterious woman who could be his guardian angel, or something far more sinister.
