An episode one year in the making is finally yours to hear! Lance and Matt connect with Ashwin Deepankar, Wilco's drum tech and stage manager, and connect over a shared fandom of Wilco. Ashwin presents a candid look at what it's like to go from being a fan of your favorite band to being hired to work with them.Ashwin Deepankar is a backline technician and stage manager for Wilco Touring World. When he is not on the road he is The Loft session assistant. Outside of working with Wilco he is a drummer and recording engineer who has been in the Chicago music scene for well over a decade. Currently, he is working on a music project with his wife, Shara called Aatmaa which will be released this year. He resides in Chicago, IL with Shara.
In this exciting episode featuring guest Mark Greenberg, the manager of the legendary Loft, Lance and Matt geek out and ask questions about Wilco's creative processes.
