Hey, friend. We hope you’re doing well, and if you’re not, that’s okay. It’s time to get brutally honest. We’ve all experienced some level of depression in our lives. Whether in the form of sadness, grief, hopelessness, or something entirely different, it’s a perfectly acceptable and valid response to the kinds of obstacles life inevitably throws our way. The key in overcoming depression, however, lies in self-awareness, the right treatment, and knowing when to seek professional help; these are just a few of the topics addressed in this week’s episode. Furthermore, the guys discuss specific symptoms, risk factors, and other pertinent related disorders.
Listen up, everyone! In this episode, Kevin and Justin talk about focus. More specifically, how concentration and attention affect one’s personal and professional lives, as well as how the two terms relate to certain mental health disorders. ADHD, trauma, and dissociative disorders are discussed in depth, as well as focus’ relationship to them. Furthermore, the guys address certain topics like amnesia, dissociation, and depersonalization in their quest to understand how attention and focus contribute to mental health.
Today, Kevin and Justin welcome their much anticipated guest, Drake Bell, to the podcast. As two former child actors, Kevin and Drake discuss the urgent need for change in how children are protected in a rather vulnerable industry. Furthermore, Drake shares how this trauma has affected him throughout his life, and what he has done to combat it. The result is one of our most powerful, compelling, and emotional episodes to date, and listeners can find both solace and confidence in knowing that they are not alone.

Through yet another vulnerable, open, and honest conversation, they share their experiences struggling with anxiety, and how they’ve persevered to achieve healthy and productive lives.

Today, Justin and Kevin discuss how although subjective to one’s personal experiences, certain emotional reactions may solicit forgiveness more than others, despite that often such emotions are a mere label we’ve created of which to help make sense.
