Once again due to busy schedules with our hosts, we are bringing on another one of our hosts for an inside look into Anna Wilson! Anna started taking lessons in Washington at a local barn. After graduating college, she worked at two separate barns, where she started some colts and rode other horses. Towards the end of Summer 2022, Anna decided to step back from the equine industry and she is currently working as a teacher's assistant at a local school in her hometown. We truly appreciate our listeners tuning in each week!
Due to a busy schedule with all of the hosts, we all decided we would release one of our practice interviews we did with each other before bringing guests onto the show. Our victim for this week is our very own tech support and occasional podcast host, Meg Bennett. She recently graduated from college and is now gearing up to use the knowledge she has gained from various horsemanship trainers to enter back into the world of dressage. Thank you to all of our listeners for tuning in each week!
Our guest this week is a unique one! Aleisha Shirley is a physical therapist that dedicates her career to help riders become the best versions of themselves to succeed in the competitive ring with their horses. We loved hearing all she had to say, and we hope you all do as well!
"Mustang" Matt Bischof is our eighth guest on Real Life Horsemanship! We are excited for you all to hear his unique perspective on the equine industry, his approach to his horsemanship, and how he helps his students learn and grow. He's most well known for being a store front for BLM mustang adoptions, and helping people with their tougher to train horses. We're excited to have you on the show, Matt!
We are honored that Amber Wagoner reached out to us to share her story! For those who don't know, she is a mule trainer located in southwestern Montana, and she has built up a little community within the Beaverhead county with a training business she started up. Welcome to the show!
We have quite a special guest this week! Today we're introducing Kelsey Love Thomas, who has accomplished a lot during her equine career. She currently holds 10 world titles, and has been named World's Greatest Horseman at Art of the Cowgirl in 2020 and 2023. We hope you enjoy listening to her as much as we did chatting with her!
This week we're welcoming Indiana Jones to the show! No, not that Indiana Jones, but she's just as epic as the legendary action hero we all know. Indiana came to Montana all the way from Zimbabwe, where she now owns and manages a boarding facility located in the Bitteroot Valley. We're excited to bring Indie onto the show!
This week we're welcoming Russell Reid to our show! Russell is the program director over at Feather River College in Quincy, California, which has four paths students can choose to follow. Feather River is unique in that it's a two year college with a four year degree in Equine and Ranch Management. We also have a special guest appearance with Meg, our podcast editor!
Congratulations to Stephanie on winning World Reserve Champion on her three year old filly last year! In this episode she will explore what it was like breaking into the equine industry, and the challenges she faced along the way.
Hannah is an amazing mustang trainer who uses liberty training methods. She has competed in many mustang makeover challenges and she teaches clinics all across the world. We are so excited to have her on the show!
In our debut episode, we will be interviewing USDF Gold Medalist dressage trainer, Amber Clark! Tune is as she graciously answers our questions and passes on knowledge she has gained during her professional career!
