Description

Chris Chavez ('The Thicc') and Tristan Blue ('The Thin') team up on a podcast that discusses the "Thicks and Thins" of life. It's time to go on a journey with them and their guests on how they have overcome some rough patches in their lives (getting dumped three weeks before a wedding, a tragic loss of close family, etc.) balanced with a fun comedic tone of making some of life's small decisions (like how to choose what to eat for dinner).

"One day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else's survival guide." - Brene Brown

Welcome Back! For the Premiere of Season 3, Tristan talks about married life and life in a new house with his beautiful wife. He doesn't spill any secrets and clearly still seems to have his sanity.
*WE RECOMMEND/ENCOURAGE YOU TO LISTEN TO PART 1 (EPISODE 19) OF THIS STORY BEFORE LISTENING TO THIS PART IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE SO. This two part season finale for the second season goes into the story of how Chris and Tristan really got to know each other from a different angle than the first episode. When you listen to the episodes, have you ever heard of Chris and Tristan mention "the people we used to hang around" or "our team/old mentors"? Well, they now reveal that to be the functions of a network marketing (also known as MLM) organization. The hope of these two episodes is not to persuade people for or against joining these types of organizations. The hope for it is for both men to share their experiences into order to inform our audience and help those who aren't familiar with this arena as a method of research that may or may not have an impact on the ultimate decision that is best for them. This entire episode includes: how they got in, the positive developments it made on their lives, the negative impacts it had on their lives, and why they ultimately decided to leave that life behind). We hope that you enjoy listening to our story.

Season 2 Premieres Wednesday, September 13th @ 5am. Shorter episodes - let's get personal!
In this episode, Chris brings a friend (yes he actually has other friends....maybe) who is an aspiring therapist and podcaster (see link below) on to the show to discuss how she is using her experiences as an adolescent to help other kids overcome sex-trafficking related trauma. There is also a legendary outtake where Tristan makes an embarrassing admission in an even more embarrassing misunderstanding. He has decided to keep this because he cares about your entertainment value. Jazzy G's podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/7ctl5LMiziQYHBuprfpZdN?si=cf4d56bfd4f148c9

Antonia is the most beautiful and kind-hearted person in the world, and that's not just because Tristan is the one typing up this description. He is a lucky man. Warning: The outtakes for this episode are full of toilet humor. Enjoy :)
In this very "thicc" laced episode, Tristan opens up about his experience and personal journey of dealing with how his sister's life was senselessly taken from her.  He gives harrowing thoughts of what he experienced and how he has started and continued his journey of forgiveness and love to honor her memory.
