Introduction for podcast Happiness Reflected Season Two
In our final episode, we consider the ways that happiness can become a sustainable practice. Eudaimonic happiness is a term that recognizes that happiness can become a part of our lives through growth, self-actualization, and purpose – even if it’s your purpose in this moment.
In this episode, we want to connect to the idea that happiness is actionable. Even small moments, the little things in life, can bring us those moments of content, but in our busy, busy world, we often overlook them. With this episode, we encourage you to look at those little moments in your life that bring you contentment, joy, and gratitude.
“Don’t worry, be happy” doesn’t always work. What happens when we feel disconnected to happiness? Our poets share their experiences with challenges and barriers to happiness. Through their vulnerability, we hope to acknowledge that happiness doesn’t always come easy.
Join us as we explore how our memories and connections can inspire reflection and gratitude. Our first five poems explore moments of family, relationships, and childhood, highlighting how connection can be pivotal to wellness.
