Just an observation. But one question I would have liked Piniero to discuss was how close or even if it was ever seriously considered, to have him start Game 5 of the 2001 ALCS. I think it was clear New York had momentum from the Game 4 walk-off, and probably wasn't terribly concerned facing Sele again. At the least, it would have made them stop and think a little and maybe, just maybe, the series goes back to Seattle and I'm feeling pretty good with Garcia and Moyer for 6 and 7.
not gonna lie, I hated Boone as a player, but he sure knows his shit, and presents a decent podcast.
As a Mariner fan old enough to remember Boonie in 93 before he got shipped off for Dan Wilson and come back in 2001 to 2005, this is quite the podcast. I enjoy his stories on and off the field and the guests from athletes, media and sports executives really make this worth listening to. Boone is able to connect with his guests and keep the conversation flowing till you feel you are with them. Highly recommend for sports fans and fans of Bret Boone.
