Andrew Berg and Raymond Lucas, Jr. team up to recap the UCLA game, including what has made the Huskies so much more effective at home than on the road. They also look at Demond Williams vs. Will Rogers and the World of Warcraft tie-ins. Then, they look ahead to UW travelling to Eugene to potentially play spoiler to the Ducks’ perfect season. They finish with a discussion of recruiting news, including two recent commitments and a few more that could be on the way.
This week Ray and Mark join Andrew to review the Penn State game, and look ahead to a crucial matchup vs UCLA on Friday night, where the Dawgs can get bowl-eligible and stay undefeated at home. We’ll also talk some recruiting, and get into Husky men’s basketball.
Coming off a win against USC, the Huskies travel to some town in Pennsylvania where the school Penn State lives. The Huskies are 0-3 all-time vs the #6 Nittany Lions, the last encounter a NY6 bowl loss in 2017, where the nightmare of State QB Trace McSorley throwing 11/11 on 3rd down (IIRC) still haunts yours McTruely.
This week Mark and Luke join Andrew to ignore the Iowa loss, talk a lot about recruiting, and look ahead to an Indiana team that - like UW - has had a massive roster overhaul, but - unlike UW - is ranked and undefeated. Also, a look around the rest of the Big Ten. And non-football recommendations you simply can’t find anywhere else.
This week Ray and Luke join Andrew to discuss last weekend’s win over Michigan, and look ahead to an Iowa Hawkeyes team that may resemble the Wolverines. Will the Huskies be able to duplicate another B1G win, this time on the road?
This week Luke and Mark join Andrew to review the frustrating loss at Rutgers, and look forward to this week’s home game vs Michigan - a rematch of sorts - where the unranked Dawgs are currently favored against the #10 Wolverines. Also: Around the Big Ten, and the Recommendations you need to have a good life.
This week Ray and Mark join Andrew to discuss the bounce back win over fellow Big Ten opponent Northwestern. Is the Dawg defense legit after three home games giving up zero TDs? Also a look ahead to the Dawg’s first road game of 2024, a not-entirely-unfamiliar trip to Rutgers in the Garden State, to face Greg Schiano’s Scarlet Knights.
This week Ray and Mark join Andrew to discuss the frustrating Apple Cup loss, how the Huskies can get back on track in their first Big Ten conference matchup vs Northwestern, and as always: recommendations!
This week Coach B and Luke join Andrew to discuss the Dawgs' week 2 win over Eastern Michigan, and look ahead to the first Apple Cup played as a non-conference game between the Big Ten and the remnants of the Pac-12. My how times change...
Eight months of anticipation comes to an end as the new-look Huskies kick off the 2024 season.
Newest UWDP writer Luke Kemper joins the pod for the first time along with Mark and Andrew to discuss the win over Weber State, impressions on players’ performances, and what else stood out as the Jedd Fisch era gets underway and the Dawgs prepare for Eastern Michigan U.
As the 2024 season is set to begin, your Washington Huskies are going through changes. Loads of changes. UWDP Deputy Editor Ray Lucas Jr. and Coach B join Andrew to discuss what first-year HC Jedd Fisch’s Huskies will look like on offense and defense, the 2-deep, and make some non-binding predictions about the team and the 2024 schedule.
