Shalom everyone—welcome back to Lion and Lamb Ministries’ study of the Gospel of Luke. In this episode, Monte Judah continues through Luke chapter 12, focusing on some of the most serious and practical teachings Messiah gives regarding our relationship with God.We begin with the controversial warning about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, why it is described differently than words spoken against the Son of Man, and how rejecting God’s witness ultimately leaves no path to mercy. From there, Yeshua encourages believers not to fear when challenged by authorities, promising that the Holy Spirit will give words in the very hour we need them. The lesson then shifts into real-world conflict: inheritance disputes, greed, and a powerful parable of the rich man who stores up goods—only to lose his life that very night. Messiah calls us away from anxiety over food and clothing and toward a life that seeks the Kingdom first, trusting God to meet our needs. Finally, Yeshua moves into end-time readiness: keep your lamps lit, live as servants expecting the Master’s return, and learn to discern the spiritual “weather” of the times. If we can read the sky, we must also learn to recognize the signs of the season we’re living in.Thanks for watching, praying, and supporting Lion and Lamb Ministries.🕊️ Watch more teachings and Q&A on Lion and Lamb TV📲 Send in your questions for a future episode of Good Questions, Real Answers through our website or app.#GoodQuestionsRealAnswers #MonteJudah #LionAndLambMinistries #Torah #Messianic #ZadokCalendar #HillelCalendar #GardenOfEden #DanielProphecy #MillennialKingdom #FinalRedemptionFor more information: To make an offering to help cover the expenses of these FREE broadcasts, you can do so here: https://www.llgive.com/ Monte Judah Links: https://thegreaterexodus.com/ https://www.messianicmarketplace.org/collections/monte-judah Other Lion and Lamb Links: https://www.lionandlamb.tv/ https://www.lionandlambministries.org/ https://www.messianicmarketplace.org/ https://www.yavohmagazine.com/0:00 – Opening and recap: confessing Messiah (Luke 12:8–9)1:10 – The controversial warning: blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Luke 12:10)3:10 – “Parts” of God and why rejecting the Spirit is total rejection6:10 – Facing synagogues and authorities: the Spirit will teach you (Luke 12:11–12)8:05 – Monte’s testimony: the “anointing makes the difference” moment12:45 – Inheritance conflict and Messiah’s warning about greed (Luke 12:13–15)15:20 – Parable of the rich fool: barns, stored wealth, and sudden death (Luke 12:16–21)18:30 – Do not worry: ravens, lilies, and God supplying needs (Luke 12:22–31)22:30 – Needs vs. wants: a maturity test in faith24:40 – “Sell your possessions… give to charity” and treasure in heaven (Luke 12:33–34)35:30 – Faithful vs. careless servants; accountability and discipline (Luke 12:41–48)37:30 – Fire, division, and households split over Messiah (Luke 12:49–53)39:30 – Discern the times: spiritual “weather” and cause/effect (Luke 12:54–59)42:30 – Wrap-up: moving into Luke 13 next
Shalom, everyone. In this episode of Lion & Lamb’s Gospel of Luke study, Monte Judah begins at Luke 11:37, where Yeshua is invited to lunch by a Pharisee. The encounter reveals a major conflict between Yeshua and the religious leadership of His day—centered on outward tradition versus inward obedience. We walk through Yeshua’s rebuke of hypocrisy, His warnings about burdensome man-made standards, and His teaching that God is concerned with the inside of the cup—the heart. Then we move into Luke 12, where Yeshua instructs His disciples to beware the leaven of the Pharisees, to fear God rather than man, and to trust the Father’s care—even under pressure.📖 Passage focus: Luke 11:37–54; Luke 12:1–13🙏 If you’re blessed by this teaching and want to help Lion & Lamb continue producing free resources, you can partner with the ministry:Visit LLGive.comOr call 405-447-4429Shalom.00:00 – Intro: Returning to Luke; starting at Luke 11:3701:05 – Yeshua invited to lunch by a Pharisee02:05 – The issue: ceremonial washing vs. real cleanliness03:05 – “Clean the outside… inside full of greed”: the heart issue04:45 – Woe #1: tithing herbs but neglecting justice & love of God06:00 – Religious appearance vs inward hypocrisy07:10 – Woes continue: honor-seeking and “unseen tombs”08:05 – The lawyers object: “You insult us too”08:35 – Woes to the lawyers: burdens on people, no help offered09:20 – Honoring dead prophets while sharing their guilt10:10 – “Key of knowledge” taken away; hindering others11:00 – Hostility escalates; leaders plot to trap Yeshua11:35 – What commandments are for: objective vs man-made standards13:10 – Example: Sabbath—few instructions vs hundreds of rules14:35 – Can God’s commandments be kept? Shalom everyone—welcome back to our study of the Gospel of Luke with Monte Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries. In this episode we finish the final paragraphs of Luke 10 with the introduction of Mary and Martha in Bethany (“the house of the poor”), a place where Yeshua would frequently stay as He traveled to Jerusalem. Martha is busy with necessary preparations, but Mary is seated at the Lord’s feet listening—prompting Yeshua’s practical correction: many things can distract us, but only one thing is necessary, and it must not be taken away.We then move into Luke 11, where the disciples ask, “Lord, teach us to pray.” Yeshua gives a concise model of prayer—directed to the Father—and then teaches what faith looks like when needs arise: ask, seek, and knock. The Father is not distant or reluctant; He gives good gifts to His children, and He responds when His people come to Him first. The episode continues with spiritual conflict and controversy after a demon is cast out. Yeshua explains why a kingdom divided cannot stand, warns about what happens when an unclean spirit returns to an “empty house,” and refocuses the crowd’s attention away from misplaced praise and back to the real blessing: hearing the Word of God and doing it.Finally, Yeshua addresses the demand for signs with a sobering answer: this generation will receive only the Sign of Jonah—a teaching that points to the resurrection, the central sign that validates the promise of forgiveness and eternal life.📖 Passage Focus: Luke 10:38–42; Luke 11:1–36🕎 Themes: Spiritual Priorities • Prayer • Faith • Spiritual Warfare • Resurrection📺 Watch more teachings and episodes on:LionandLamb.tv0:00 – Welcome: conversations with the Messiah in Luke1:30 – Luke 10:38–42 read: Mary & Martha introduced3:10 – Bethany context: “house of the poor” + travel to Jerusalem4:40 – Lesson: spiritual priorities (“only one thing is necessary”)6:10 – Daily application: quiet time & devotions first8:00 – Transition into Luke 118:25 – “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1–4)10:00 – Prayer directed to the Father; Messiah as advocate11:10 – Parable: friend at midnight (Luke 11:5–8)13:00 – Ask, seek, knock (Luke 11:9–13)14:40 – The Father gives good gifts / Holy Spirit16:10 – Casting out a mute demon + accusations (Luke 11:14–23)18:20 – Warning: unclean spirit returns (Luke 11:24–26)20:00 – Correction: blessing is obedience, not misplaced praise (Luke 11:27–28)21:45 – The Sign of Jonah (Luke 11:29–32)24:10 – Lamp of the body: light vs darkness (Luke 11:33–36)26:00 – Closing emphasis: resurrection & eternal life27:30 – End-of-year partnership message (optional)
In Luke chapter 10, Yeshua appoints and sends out 72 disciples to proclaim that the Kingdom of God has come near—teaching them to minister by faith, to handle rejection rightly, and to keep their joy anchored in heaven, not in spiritual “success.” Then a Torah expert tests Yeshua with a question about eternal life, leading to the famous Good Samaritan parable and the true meaning of loving your neighbor.📖 Passage: Luke 10:1–37🕊️ Themes: ministry by faith, authority in His name, humility, obedience, compassion, “Who is my neighbor?”📺 Watch more teachings and episodes on:LionandLamb.tv00:00 Intro: Luke study begins (Luke 10)00:01 Reading Luke 10:1–17 (the 72 sent out)00:04 Why Yeshua says “carry no bag” — ministry by faith00:05 Testimony: the Navigators exercise (going out with nothing)00:08 How Yeshua Himself ministered (simple, received hospitality)00:10 Authority over the enemy + “rejoice your names are written” (Luke 10:19–20)00:12 Representing the Lord: rejection and reception aren’t about you00:13 Revelation to the humble (Luke 10:21–24)00:17 End-of-year ministry support message00:18 The lawyer’s question: inheriting eternal life (Luke 10:25–28)00:21 Salvation, faith, and the “first commandment” discussion00:25 Warning: false messiahs and distorted teachings00:34 “Who is my neighbor?” (Luke 10:29)00:35 The Good Samaritan parable (Luke 10:30–37)00:42 Closing exhortation + next episode tease (Luke 10:38)00:43 Promo: Come to the Table with Kimberly
