Description

Was Donna Richmond's murder the end of a string of burglaries and homicides in small-town California? Was the wrong person convicted? This podcast provides new information and insight into Donna's case. We also detail a string of ransacking burglaries, the murder of another young teen, and the shooting of a father protecting his daughter as she was being kidnapped. The police came close to catching the ransacker, but he shot his way out. Were all of these crimes committed by the same person? Did he change jurisdiction to avoid detection? UPDATE: Joseph James Deangelo has been identified and charged as the Visalia Ransacker and East Area Rapist.

The best that I have listened to so far. appreciate all the details and the delivery of the facts. This is a no nonsense telling of events that I believe the victims of VR would appreciate. Good job in handling this information in a respectful manner.

Fantastic, I've listened to many podcasts and read several books on the VR, EAR and ONS but this is by far is more informed and detailed. I'm on episode 17 and can't listen quick enough, I'm aware that wrongful convictions are much more commonplace than generally known but don't yet know the status of Oscar Clifton today. I can't listen quick enough.

guys you've got to do something about the breathing. it sounds like one of you is breathing thru your nose into the mic during about 75% of the episode. it's to the point where I almost can't listen to it.

I love your podcast! There's no more in depth coverage of the Visalia ransacker anywhere else. I love that you guys include the actual police reports. It gives us, the listeners, an actual description of how often these burglaries occurred, how odd they were, and how much the police took these burglaries seriously. Thank you for doing this podcast. I hope you'll continue your show. Have you guys considered delving into the EAR series more. It would be awesome if you guys could get some of those police reports. Again, thank you.

Great in depth coverage of the VR. I became interested in this case after researching the EAR/ONS... who's now known as The Golden State Killer. The similarities in these cases are uncanny. This podcast is a must listen if you're into true crime!
