Welcome to the first episode of Inside the Music, I'm your host, THE GUZ and I will be taking you on a trip through the histories of rock and roll bands. Starting with STYX, a band that had rocky beginnings with the four first albums underperforming and being commercial failures. I will also be talking about the introduction to Tommy Shaw joining the band and their big commercial breakthrough with 1977s The Grand Illusion and the next four albums that will follow. STYX still tours today and I highly suggest checking them out if they are coming to a city near you.
