Herbalism refers to folk and traditional medicinal practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts. Plants have many health benefits when used alone and in tandem with others.

Lois teaches us how to stop feeling guilty and shameful by releasing the shame guilt from ourselves and how to avoid shame guilt from others.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with
Marjorie Nass, menopause and perimenopause specialist. We discussed our experiences living in
different parts of the country and how it has influenced their perspectives on
healthy living.
Marjorie shared her expertise in helping women thrive
through perimenopause and menopause, including her journey of discovering yoga
and Ayurveda. She gave us a crash course on the principles of Ayurveda and how
they can be applied to managing menopause symptoms.
We touched on the importance of taking time for oneself,
creating a routine, and avoiding sources of stress before bed. Marjorie
emphasized how small lifestyle changes can make a big difference in overall
wellbeing during menopause.
Overall, this episode was a great reminder of the importance
of self-care and making intentional choices to live a happier, healthier life.
