The thing that annoys me most about the word or concept of an excuse is how it's applied to people's contexts. Let's say you're in sales. I'm going to ask you the question, "why have you not sold a billion dollars in whatever product you sell last month?". You are going to respond with a reasonable answer as to why. And then I'm going to say "that sounds like an excuse." You see how that works? saying that someone is using an excuse is inappropriately dismissive of larger issues.
This episode is disappointing; it focuses on preventing abortion rather than overcoming it. If your goal is to overcome abortion, this will only make you feel more distressed.
