So we should talk…

Obio is having the time of his life in Disney, but we couldn't leave you hanging. Lynae & Sim are having some much needed girl talk today. Enjoy.

So, the twitter gworls are having a feast between Jerrod Carmichael, straight boys with gay friends and Arnell Armon’s decision to make choices in her own life. What can we say, we wanted to take a bite. Welcome to our first Closed Shop episode: where we learn and laugh out loud and talk about less intense topics than usual. Today we’re diving into a golden sitcom era: The 90’s — and discussing one of the most popular shows of that time, “The Fresh Prince of Belair.” Side note: Obio and Lynae don’t necessarily hate Sim, but if you sense that on this episode, you’re not wrong. This week we’re getting into Jerrod’s brave show, brand new bodies, someone getting fired at Essence and of course the very clever Cowboy Carter. We just got to April, but it feels like this month is blooming with all of the things. Trigger Warnings: if you’ve ever embarrassingly expressed love for someone who found you hideous, this may be a difficult listen.
