Josh Doty, of Cemetery Sun knows how important it is to have an amazing sound in the studio. These days everyone is or has access to what seems like genius producers. Not everyone however, are developing the skills of the stage. Learning what performance was all about from the very beginning. Josh Doty, Elliot Polokoff, and Matt Scarpelli know this. They are living it. They are taking advantage of all the new technology we have today and building up a live fanbase on the stage as well. And with a sound as good as theirs, I don't think they can lose. For more info: Cemetery Sun music, videos, stats, and photos | Last.fm
South African born, Chris Kamstra is on a roll with his music. He recorded his last song "Don't tell me what to do" with nothing more than his guitar, his I phone, and a tremendous amount of determination. That song had over 3 million streams and over 2 million shares. This latest song was recorded in an actual studio with professional producers. You can really hear the intensity in Chris's voice.
Meet Éric MONDON, lyricist of the song, with the music originating from Gérard ZEMOUR. "I've written this song in French but with words and expressions it's very easy to understand for those who speak English." Enjoy Eric Mondon and enjoy "Un rendez-vous à Paris"
Nraakors is the brainchild of James Kasper, Joseph Norman and Gigi Macabre.Their music includes aspects of grunge, prog, noise rock, thrash metal, jazz fusion, folk, neoclassical and free improv. The result is a bit like the composers; weird, a bit roughhewn, somewhat sentimental and equal parts sardonic and sincere.
Timmy Lorenz is performing songwriter who had his taste of success in Europe. After Covid, the band sort of fell apart. But not for Timmy. He used the time to work on his skils in the studio He was in no way ready to let a pandemic stop him from spreading the beauty of music and the joy of creating it. His latest song Breeze is a product of that time. There;s also a video that goes with it. Enjoy!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzuzGeYcOxc

This is the show of shows! The cutest rapping, singing, hard working, 7 year old, I've ever spoken to. This girl IS a phenom. She's a regular little girl by day...Helping her teachers and getting good grades but her other ego...Shhh Zeena the Phenon, helping the world all she can. If you haven't ever listened to us our want to fall in love, give this 2 minutes and you won't be able to stop listening. Happy holidays to all 2023.
Bringing you the very best in Jazz and swing. With roots in Rock and other Genres, say hello to the Silva Lining Band. ***Be careful this music is very addictictive!
Alf Jetzer is an accomplished musician. He has worked on his craft for 4 decades. His life has been compared to one of a monk. Not that he doesn't speak. He does and his world is filled with beautiful music. But in the way that he is completely devoted to one thing- His music. His work has paid off. This is the music that people search for to meditate to. To put in the background of movies. To daydream to. This is such high-quality instrumental sound. This is music that can literally change your mood. At the least it is worth a listen. The song we are featuring is "Soul Bird"
Dian Sheng grew up in China, where he studied piano since the age of 5. He studied English from a very young age as well. He has only been living in England for 7 years and he speaks it like a native. He also composes beautiful songs and writes lyrics that seem to go flawlessly with the music. His song "The way before" is a sad song about love gone wrong. Yeah, we've heard it 1000x before. But I swear this was new and very vulnerable. I really like Dian Sheng and the plans he has for the future with his music. I actually think it would be difficult not to like Dian Sheng. I hope you listen to this interview and "The way before"
These girls are UNbelievable! When you hear their music you won't believe that they are ages- 13 (Ashlyn) and 15 (Scarlet). The songs are sturctured so well. It isn't like:"They aren't good for teenagers." Uh uh. They are good. It all started when Scarlet wrote a song called "Iron Shield" and it took off. It's a powerful song about rising above a trajedy that was going on with a third sister. I didn't get too much into that because it was such a deep subject. Then, younger sister, Ashlyn, decided to give it a try with a song she wrote titled, Hide and Seek, and what do you know? - She's getting those big numbers too. Of course none of this would be possible without the support of mom and dad, (you'll hear) You'll also hear me mix up their names a few times. These girls deserve every bit of success they get. They are so polite and sweet. I am honored to be one of their earliest interviews. Scarlett Sullivan | SpotifyAshlyn Sullivan | Spotify
Mack Holland is an inspirational performer. He writes and produces all of his own music. He has also written a book. Everything he does he puts 100 percent into. He is genuinely warm and encouraging to everyone. Check out our conversation and his song.
For over 20 years Martin Kuiper has had one of the most successful Europeon interview companies, FaceCulture. With 90k subscribers and 14k interviews on their You Tube Channel, It's plain to see that they are doing good work. But you can be the judge: but come back (70) FaceCulture - YouTube Adele, Ed Sheeran If they have made an impact in music you can bet they've been interviewed on FaceCulture. I read his bio and spoke with him for awhile before learning about his success with his company. He is not one to throw himself in the spotlight. So we will have to do it for him.Martin has always had his own dream of writing and performing. Now, he has done some writing, put it to music, produced it and put it out there. It happens to be doing very well. But again, I'll let you be the judge.
Limberlost is bad-ass! I mean they are as the nicest people to talk to but...Their whole mission, their latest song, everything about them screams- Bad-Ass! Don't get me wrong I LOVE IT! They are even going to be the opening act for Yngwie Malmsteen- Who is said to be one of the best guitar players on the planet!
Iain MacDonald wrote a song on an album that went gold in the 80s, Johnny Hates Jazz. It was a beautiful ballad (always my favorites). He has only gotten better over the years. He has written for various labels and even started his own. He can work his way around a recording studio with his eyes closed. He writes song that are upbeat and dancy and about things he cares about. Such as the enviroment. But he does it in a very "non preachy' way. Iain is a special man and this show is definetely worth listening to. For pics and a pro article by Jesse Bryan-indiemusicperformer.com
just looking around on LongRoad's website, you can see how long these guys have been at this. They have photos and concert dates going back years. While I was talking to them I could tell how much this album and song means to them. When you hear their music, it will become obvious to you (and maybe them again) that this band may have taken a "Long Road" to success but it will be worth it.
Zarah really has done it all. From being on stage with bands like the Goo Goo Dolls to building her own show, to writing books, to teach our youth skills that will help them in every area of life. She is fun. Smart. Giving. And has talent that she hasn't even tapped into yet. Much of this she has accomplished in the aftermath of losing one of the most important people in her life. Do you want an energy charge? This episode will give you one.
Take a few minutes to listen to some really cool guys talk about how their creativity got the best of them during the covid lockdown. These guys make up Dicosis and their singer is known as Crooked Bangs. So many horrible things happened during that time. Let's hear about some of the beautiful collaborations, music and other things that wouldn't be here had it not been for those days. Dicosis plays 'trance' musicFrom wikipedia:Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that emerged from EBM in Frankfurt, Germany in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and quickly spread throughout Europe.Trance music is typically characterized by a tempo between 120–150 beats per minute (BPM), repeating melodic phrases and a musical form that distinctly builds tension and elements throughout a track often culminating in 1 to 2 "peaks" or "drops".
Nic Andreas is a successful lawyer. He fights for people who were exposed to asbestos and have become very sick. He is passionate about other enviremnental issues. We need people like Nic Andrea. However, his work is very serious and I guess a little depressing at times. Enter...the other side of his life. His band. He works with some of the best musicians and a producer of all time (In my opinion). One of his band mates played with Bob Dylan. The producer worked with Deep Purple and The Pointer Sisters and that's just the beginning. It's quite an eccletic group of style and sounds he has influencing him and he enjoys every bit of it. Because this part of his life is all about fun. The music is very "jazzy" but you will hear bits and pieces of so many other genres and specific artists in the 2 songs we feature in the episode. Nic is humble, kind, and talented. I hope you enjoy this show.
Piqued Jacks is a popluar, Italian, rock band. They have been listening and studying music since childhood. They knew to be successful they would need to understand and speak English. Well, these guys take rock & roll very seriously because not only is their music great, their English is so good they barely have any accents at all. They have been playing together since 06', have done tours in Europe and in the states. They have played in festivals. They won the 2023San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest and it just goes on and on. If you don't know them from their music, please give Piqued Jacks a listen.
