While normally an astute observer, especially when it comes to hating, Shwin missed big on picking the most hateful Knicks opponents. First by a mile is MJ, who singlehandedly ruined the Ewing era. A distant second is Reggie Miller. Nobody else even comes close.

I agree that there has to be a better way to do the draft. I almost think if you keep it as it is but have all teams play each other the same amount of times it could help. because then those teams in the west that are losing more because they are playing better teams will win more against the weaker teams. I'd be interested to see if they came up with something more complex though to punish teams that tank on purpose like the warriors this year.
