Real Estate Networking Events… Waste of Time or Worth the Hype? 😅 | The Ugly Side of Real Estate If you’re looking for a “get out there and network!” pep talk… this AIN’T that video. 😅 Tonight, I left my warm house, stepped out into the cold and the dark, put on my festive earrings (hubby-approved 😂), and actually attended a real estate networking event. And whew… let’s just say I was quickly reminded why networking events are NOT one of my lead pillars — 14 years in, and I’m still good on that. In this video, I share: ✔️ My brutally honest experience walking into a small, low-turnout event ✔️ Why some networking events feel like MLM central 😩 ✔️ The difference between meaningful connections and “let’s just get through this” convos ✔️ Why networking events may (or may NOT) be worth your time as an agent ✔️ What I would do differently if I had to go again ✔️ When networking actually makes sense — and when it’s a time-waster Networking may be YOUR thing… but for me?
