John Cena has wrestled his last match... ever.  The Saturday Night's Main Event broadcast brought in some respectable numbers, some big name guests, and a LOT of money to WWE.  The forever long debate begins as to whether or not it was the "right" way to finish off his historic career.  We dive into that a bit with your feedback, and The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer also offers his thoughts. Also this week, meet Kate Kroll - known to wrestling fans as "Calamity Kate", the established pro-wrestler is also the driving force behind "LUNATIC: The Luna Vachon Story".  The documentary has seen some screentime at festivals in Canada and around the world, but will be making its broadcast debut this Tuesday, December 16 on "Hollywood Suite" - hollywoodsuite.ca Hear a little from Kate about how this film came to be, and Associate Producer, Greg Oliver, who helped bring the stories together using his vast connections and experience.  These interview hilights come from a full conversation that will post this week on the podcast feed. Thank you for listening, subscribing and sharing.  Find more about our shows at celebratewrestling.com

Every successful wrestler is able to find a piece of themselves they are able to amp up and embellish.  What if that element is something that could serve to their detriment?  Step into the mind of "The Sidewalk Savant", as he and Mike McGuire go through his career, and what some may find to be a unique mentality among his peers.  Also, find out how a chance encounter and off the cuff comment between Sheldon and Mike turned into a deeper understanding of what Sheldon feels is his strongest - and most challenging trait. After just a few years in the wrestling scene, Sheldon has gone on to work with and face some notable wrestlers, all while getting better every match.  His natural gifts take him to places he never imagined, but all the while, he takes each match as an opportunity to get to the top of the card, and get to another level. For more on Sheldon Jean, (pronounced JEEN), visit him on Instagram
What started as an off-cuff conversation turned into one of the most prolific interviews of the year.  You'll meet Ontario's Sheldon Jean... graduate of the CanAM Wrestling School in Windsor, Ontario.  He's been in TNA, wrestled around the world, is heavily featured in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, and continues to make a name for himself in his rising career. In this MOW Independent Spotlight preview, you'll hear how Sheldon came from being a basketball star to finding his home in the ring - plus how a fine line between confidence and arrogance CAN be walked successfully.  This is an interview you won't want to miss. The final days of John Cena's active wrestling career are almost up, as this Saturday he hangs up the boots for good (?) in his final match against Gunther. After comments on a late night talk show, hear why some fans are wondering WHEN EXACTLY Cena's last match will be, and what else to expect that night. Plus, The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer is here to explain the potential futures for TNA Wrestling and AEW as both companies had some major news revolving around their television and streaming carriers this week.  He and Mike also discuss Cena's last match, Austin Theory, and much more in their weekly chat. Meet Jordan Clarke.  At one time, he was a dominant force on the Alberta independent wrestling scene, known as both "Dirty Dick Raines" and "Dirty Duke Durrango". Duke came up in the original Hart Dungeon.  From a treadmill that resembled a torture device, to getting stretched and learning "strong style" from Bruce Hart himself, Duke is part of a class of wrestlers that were influential on many wrestlers who are still active on the independent scene today, promote their own shows, or have even gone on to become worldwide celebrities. Duke joins Mike for a trip down memory lane, including being there when WWE's Natalya - or Nattie Neidhart, first came into the infamous Dungeon before becoming one of the most revered women in the ring.  They also share stories about what it was like to REALLY train in the Dungeon, saving young wrestlers (and ring announcers) from themselves, and MUCH more. In what could be "a pod is born" moment, you'll meet Jordan Clarke, who is best known to Stampede Wrestling and Canadian wrestling fans as "Dirty" Duke Durrango - a veteran who just happened to be there for a certain "Low Key Legend's" formative days in the wrestling business - but also has a deep well of wrestling history of his own. This week on Legends & Champions, we're heading to Boston for Survivor Series 1993 — a turning-point PPV where the New Generation era truly began to take shape. The Hulkamania shadows were fading, new stars were rising, and the WWF was trying to prove it could evolve without its biggest icon. We dig into everything from the All-Americans vs. The Foreign Fanatics — and the backstage drama that led to Luger replacing Hogan as the patriotic torchbearer — to the legendary Hart Family vs. Shawn Michaels & His Knights showdown, featuring Brett’s master-class storytelling and the seeds of an epic family feud. Plus: Undertaker in the stars-and-stripes, Doink-filled chaos, and the kind of early-90s WWF weirdness that only Survivor Series could deliver. Was the event a bold new chapter or an awkward transition? We break it all down — the matches, the promos, the politics, and how this PPV set the stage for the mid-90s revolution to come. Dust off the tassels, fire up that Coliseum Video nostalgia, and join us for a deep dive into Survivor Series ‘93. Legends & Champions — Where wrestling’s legacy lives and legends never fade.
Thanks to your feedback from last week's episode, we jump a little deeper into the generative AI discussion when it comes to the impact it might - or might not have on pro wrestling's future. The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer joins the show to talk about a wide variety of subjects including Chris Jericho's latest social media, more title belts in WWE and AEW, Tanahashi's final match and more! Plus, we hear about situations involving released WWE star Ridge Holland, John Cena's final match ticket prices, and which former WWE champion could be bouncing back from recovery? This week on Legends & Champions, we're stepping back into the golden age of WWF to dissect Survivor Series 1990 — a night of wild gimmicks, legendary debuts, and one… unforgettable giant bird.  From the birth of The Undertaker and a stunned Ted DiBiase to the infamous Gobbledy Gooker reveal that left the crowd scratching their heads, we break down every moment that made this event a bizarre yet iconic chapter in wrestling history. We look at how the traditional elimination format evolved, why the Grand Finale Match of Survival was a one-time experiment, and what this pay-per-view tells us about Vince McMahon’s creative mindset at the dawn of the 90s. Expect nostalgia and the kind of wrestling analysis only true students of the squared circle can deliver. Grab your foam finger, lace up your boots — it’s time to revisit Survivor Series '90.  Legends & Champions — Where wrestling's past becomes legend and its icons become immortal.
WWE's first Saturday Night's Main Event NOT broadcast on NBC saw some slow upticks in numbers, despite some big title changes and big stars.  Is it fatigue? Competing events?
