Mulder and Wolfie welcome Stan Switek back to the show as they shift focus to “Movies From Our Youth”. First up, a Charlie Sheen/Kristy Swanson team-up, The Chase (1994). It’s not even available to rent or purchase digitally. Is it as good as Mulder remembers? Next up on “Movies From Our Youth,” Another Stakeout (1993). At long last we wrap up our focus on horror remakes with the 1978 classic, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Stan Switek is back to help us break it all down and to differentiate between human and pod person. The usual tangents ensue, and in fact there was a pretty decent one that lasted longer than 10 minutes at the onset, so to appease all the folks that would wish we would stay more on topic, I cut it and pasted it to the end of the episode. So if you stick around after the outro and Out-Of-Context clip there's another dozen minutes or so of mind(ful)less banter for your enjoyment. We'll be back next week with Hunter Deusing of the Midnight Movie Cowboys to discuss a new Holiday Horror classic, Thanksgiving (2023). We now have a YouTube channel!
