We hear a lot about choosing a school based on ranking but what if ranking was actually not the best way to choose a school? Learn about how to be deliberate to find a school connected to the industry you desire to work in and that has connections to the jobs you want. A top ranked school with research funding in an area you have zero interest in could take your love for engineering cars and throw it to the wayside as you instead research medical mechanical devices like pace makers and before you know it, 40 years pass and you are still working in medical mechanical devices instead of cars. Had some audio quality issues today but in 2024 I am focused on quantity of work I am putting out and rapid delivery of resources instead of perfection, so bear with me as I learn how to best record this next month and focus more on content than perfection.
