Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today is Marriage Monday, and we’re in James 3:3–6, talking about the power of our words in relationships. The Bible compares the tongue to a small bit in a horse’s mouth and a tiny rudder on a ship—both small, but powerful enough to change direction completely. In the same way, what we say is steering the direction of our marriages, our relationships, and our lives. In this episode, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly break down how negative words, small digs, and careless speech can slowly damage a relationship over time. But the opposite is also true—encouraging, life-giving words can build up your spouse, strengthen your connection, and move your relationship toward God’s best. You don’t have to ignore problems or avoid truth—but you can choose to communicate with grace, encouragement, and healthy boundaries. When you change your words, you begin to change the direction of your relationship.Your words are not small. They are shaping your future.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Have a blessed, amazing, and awesome day!#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#MarriageMonday #James3#WordsMatter #HealthyRelationships#SpeakLife #ChristianMarriage#DailyDevotional
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Philippians 4:7, where the Bible tells us that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. In a world filled with anxiety, pressure, and constant distractions, it can be easy to let worry take control. But God offers a peace that goes far beyond what our human minds can comprehend. This peace comes when we bring everything to God through prayer, thanksgiving, and trust. In this episode, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how to pause in stressful moments, shift your perspective toward eternity, and remind yourself that what you are facing today is temporary compared to the incredible future God has prepared for you. When we release our worries to God and focus on gratitude, prayer, and faith, His peace steps in and begins to guard our hearts and minds. That peace gives us the strength to walk through challenges without being overwhelmed by them.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Have a blessed, amazing, awesome day!#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#Philippians47 #PeaceOfGod#FaithOverFear #ChristianEncouragement#DailyDevotional #TrustGod
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Joshua 6:1–2, where the city of Jericho is completely shut up—no one going in and no one coming out. In the natural, it looked impossible. But God tells Joshua something powerful: “See, I have given Jericho into your hands.”God was asking Joshua to see something that did not yet exist in the natural. This episode explores the power of vision, faith, and seeing beyond your current circumstances. Before the walls of Jericho ever fell, Joshua had to see the victory. In the same way, many of us face situations where everything looks closed, stuck, or impossible. But God invites us to look beyond what we see and begin to see what He sees. When you begin to picture the breakthrough—whether it’s in your marriage, your children, your finances, or your future—faith begins to rise. What you see influences what you believe, and what you believe shapes the direction of your life.God often calls us to see the promise before we ever experience the miracle.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Have a blessed, amazing, awesome, epic day!#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#Joshua6 #FaithVision#SeeTheVictory #FaithOverFear#ChristianEncouragement #DailyDevotional#BibleTeaching
Welcome to Living Word! Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Proverbs 21:31 — “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the Lord.”This powerful verse reminds us that while God brings the victory, we still have a role to play. Preparation matters. God often partners with our preparation to bring about the breakthrough we’re believing for.In this episode we talk about how preparation impacts every area of life — marriage, parenting, finances, relationships, and personal growth. Too often people pray for change without preparing for it. But throughout the Bible we see that God moves when people step forward in faith and action.David prepared with his slingshot before facing Goliath. Joshua and the Israelites marched around Jericho. Even when Jesus fed the 5,000, there was preparation and participation involved.God doesn’t want to do life for us — He wants to do life with us.When we choose to be excellent where we are, grow in the small things, and prepare faithfully, God can use that preparation to open doors and bring victory in ways we could never do on our own.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Have a blessed, amazing, and epic day!#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#Proverbs2131 #Preparation#FaithAndAction #ChristianEncouragement#FaithWithoutWorks #DailyDevotional#VictoryBelongsToTheLord

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re looking at Judges 6, where Gideon is found threshing wheat in a wine press. At first glance it may not seem unusual, but historically threshing wheat was done on a hill where the wind could separate the grain from the chaff. A wine press was a pit. Gideon was working hard, but in the wrong place.Fear had pushed him into hiding and caused him to work in a way that produced very little result. Many times in life we can do the same thing. We work harder and harder, but because fear, doubt, or insecurity are driving us, we find ourselves doing things backward. Instead of operating in God’s peace and trusting His timing, we start forcing outcomes or settling for less than God’s best. But when God speaks to Gideon, He doesn’t call him by what he is doing. He calls him “mighty warrior.” God speaks to who Gideon is meant to become. When we begin to see ourselves the way God sees us, fear loses its power. We stop settling, stop striving in the wrong places, and start stepping into the purpose and identity God has for our lives. You are not meant to live in fear, work in the pit, or settle for just enough. God has called you to step into His promises, His peace, and His abundance.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Be in church this weekend.Have a blessed, amazing, and epic day!#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#Judges6 #Gideon#FaithOverFear #GodsPromises#ChristianEncouragement #DailyDevotional#GodsBest
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Colossians 4:6 — “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt.” Our words matter more than we often realize. Just like a small rudder steers a large ship, the words we speak guide the direction of our lives, our relationships, and our future.Even being slightly off with our words—negative comments, harsh responses, or careless speech—can slowly move us far away from where we want to go. But when our speech is filled with grace, kindness, and wisdom, it opens the door for healthier conversations, stronger relationships, and greater influence in the lives of others. In this episode, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about learning to listen before responding, speaking with grace even when we disagree, and how slowing down our words can transform marriages, friendships, and everyday conversations. When we choose grace in our speech, we give God room to work in our relationships and in the hearts of those around us.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Proverbs 18:21 — “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” What you say matters. Your words are seeds, and the fruit they produce is what you eventually live in.In this episode, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how words can bring healing, hope, and change. Instead of speaking only what you see, speak what God says. Jesus did not describe the storm. He spoke peace to it. In the same way, we can use our words to speak life over our marriage, our health, our family, and our future. If you have been struggling with negative thinking, discouraging words, or just speaking the problem, this message will encourage you to start speaking faith, hope, and life.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Be in church this weekend.Have an amazing, blessed, and epic day.#WakeUpTV #PastorScot #PastorHolly#Proverbs1821 #SpeakLife#PowerOfWords #FaithFilledWords#ChristianEncouragement #DailyDevotional#WordsMatter
Today on Wake Up, Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about significance and the truth that your life matters more than you think. Many people feel insignificant and wonder if what they do really makes a difference. The enemy works hard to convince us that we are unimportant so we stop looking for opportunities to impact the people around us. But the truth is, God designed you to be the one who brings hope, kindness, and encouragement into someone’s life. In Acts 9, unnamed followers helped lower Paul in a basket so he could escape danger. Their small act saved the life of the man who would go on to write much of the New Testament. They may never be known by name, but their obedience changed history. The same is true for us. The smallest acts of kindness—smiling, praying for someone, inviting someone to church, encouraging a coworker—can create a ripple effect that impacts lives for generations. What may seem small to you may be the very thing God uses to change someone’s future. You are not insignificant. You are valuable, chosen, and positioned by God to make a difference right where you are. Today on Wake Up, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about Proverbs 18:10 and the incredible power found in the name of the Lord.“The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”In life, many of us run to the wrong things when we feel overwhelmed. We run to worry, fear, distractions, or temporary comforts. But God has already provided a place of safety for us — His presence, His Word, and the power of the name of Jesus.Sometimes the ground beneath our lives can feel like it’s shifting. Circumstances, finances, relationships, or unexpected problems can make everything feel unstable. But when our foundation is built on God’s Word, we don’t have to panic when storms come.Just calling on the name of Jesus can bring peace, strength, and clarity in the middle of chaos. His name is strong, unshakable, and always available to us.When you consistently fill your heart and mind with God’s Word, you build a foundation that cannot be shaken. Then when challenges arise, you don’t respond with fear — you respond with faith. If today’s message encouraged you, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe, and consider partnering with us at wakeuptv.tv.#WakeUpTV #Proverbs1810 #NameOfJesus#StrongTower #FaithOverFear #ChristianEncouragement#DailyDevotional #TrustGod #FaithInAction
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we’re in Proverbs 12:18 — “The tongue of the wise brings healing.” Our words have power. They can cut like a knife, or they can build someone up and bring life. The choice is ours.We talk about being intentional with our words in 2026 — choosing to encourage instead of criticize, to listen instead of react, and to make people feel valued instead of diminished. In a culture that constantly tells people they are not enough, we have the opportunity to speak life and remind them that through Christ, they are more than enough.Pastor Holly also shares about discovering the Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) of the Bible and how sometimes a fresh translation helps the Word land in a powerful new way.If you want stronger relationships, healthier conversations, and a life marked by healing instead of hurt, this episode is for you.Partner with us at wakeuptv.tvDon’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.Be in church this weekend.Have an amazing, blessed, and epic day.#WakeUpTV #PastorScott #PastorHolly#Proverbs1218 #PowerOfWords#SpeakLife #ChristianEncouragement#HealthyRelationships #DailyDevotional
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.Today we talk about position before transformation. In Exodus 19:2, Israel camped facing the mountain before God revealed Himself and gave the Ten Commandments. Before there was transformation, there was positioning. They had to face Him in order to hear Him.The same principle carries into the New Testament:Be transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2)Set your mind on things above (Colossians 3:2)Abide in Me (John 15)Fix your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2)What are you facing? If you consistently face worry, fear, distraction, or disappointment, those things will begin shaping your life. But when you intentionally turn your focus toward God, transformation follows.Whatever has your focus will shape your future. What you consistently face, you eventually become. We also talk about having a “Jesus benefit of the doubt” in relationships. Don’t jump to conclusions. Give grace. Choose kindness. Today on Wake Up, Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about becoming a true peacemaker and how to stop being easily triggered. Our key scripture is James 1:19: Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. In a world where people are quick to react and quick to argue, God calls us to respond differently.Charming, influential, and spiritually mature people all share one trait — they make others feel valued. Instead of listening to respond, they listen to understand. When you put the phone down, stay present, and truly hear someone, you communicate worth and importance. If you want stronger marriages, healthier relationships, and better conversations, start here:Be a ready listener. Today on Wake Up, Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about what it means to live fearless in a world filled with stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. Our key scripture is Hebrews 11:27, where Moses left Egypt and overcame fear because he kept his eyes on the One who is invisible. Even when fear first hit him, he shook it off and kept moving forward in faith.Fear will try to attach itself to you like junk mail in your inbox. But you do not have to keep it. The Bible tells us to capture every thought that is contrary to God’s Word. God did not give you a spirit of fear. He gave you power, love, and a sound mind.Faith attracts solutions. Fear attracts problems. When you choose faith, you position yourself for victory. When you overcome fear in your life, it does not just free you. It sets generations after you free as well. You are not a victim. Good morning and welcome to Wake Up — where we wake up. ☀️Today we’re talking about something that defines our culture right now:Being triggered. We live in a world where everyone seems offended, reactive, outraged, or emotionally hijacked by the smallest things. But what if instead of demanding that the world stop triggering us… we learned how to become untriggerable?Jesus never said, “Make sure no one offends you.”He taught us how to respond when they do.When you let someone’s words control your emotions, you hand them power that was never meant to be theirs. And here’s the deeper truth — the more God elevates you, the more criticism you’ll face. If you can’t handle it here, it will crush you there. So don’t let unkind people reshape who God designed you to be.Stay authentic.Stay kind.Stay peaceful.Stay you.Because blessed are the peacemakers.👍 Like it📤 Share it🔔 Subscribe💛 Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv#WakeUp #WakeUpBibleStudy #DontGetTriggered #Untriggerable #ChoosePeace #Peacemaker #ChristianLiving #FaithInAction #EmotionalMaturity #SelfControl #BlessedAreThePeacemakers #HealthyRelationships #SpiritualGrowth #MindsetShift #WalkInLove
You never truly “win” an argument. Even if you think you did. When you belittle someone, cut them down, or try to overpower them with your opinion, you may feel victorious — but you didn’t win their heart. And hearts are what matter. We don’t have to defend the Bible.Truth defends itself. Our job isn’t to beat people over the head with beliefs. Our job is to love so well that people are drawn to the difference.Above all — love.If this message encouraged you, hit like, share it with someone who needs it, and subscribe so you don’t miss a Wake Up.#WakeUp #WakeUpBibleStudy #Isaiah286 #ChoosePeace #TurnBackTheBattle #ChristianLiving #FaithInAction #SpeakTruthInLove #NoMoreDivision #LoveFirst #BiblicalWisdom #ChristianEncouragement #CharacterMatters #LeadWithGrace #SpiritualGrowth
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up — where we wake up. ☀️Today we’re in Philippians 4:4–7, one of the most practical, life-steadying passages in the Bible.“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice.”“Do not be anxious about anything…”“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Paul writes this while being persecuted, hunted, imprisoned, shipwrecked — and yet he says rejoice. Always. The peace of God doesn’t always explain the storm. It often just rises above it.And when that peace guards your heart, it keeps bitterness out.It keeps hopelessness out.It keeps panic out.It keeps the enemy from getting inside your thoughts.Whether you're walking through something massive — job loss, health reports, family struggles — or something small and petty that wants to steal your joy for the next hour… this scripture applies.Rejoice.Pray.Give thanks.Receive peace. Not sometimes. Good morning and welcome to Wake Up — where we wake up. ☀️Today we’re diving into Matthew 6 and talking about something so simple — yet so powerful — prayer. So many believers pray…But have never really been shown how to pray.Jesus didn’t just say “pray this.”He said, “Pray in this manner.”That means He gave us a pattern. An outline. A rhythm for relationship. We unpack:• Starting prayer with praise• Inviting heaven’s will into earth• Asking for daily provision• The importance of forgiveness• Praying to be kept away from temptation• Covering your children in prayer• Interceding for teachers, spouses, and future relationships• The long-term faithfulness of God to years of prayerPrayer isn’t a formula — it’s relationship. But structure strengthens relationship. There is power in praying:“Let it be on earth as it is in heaven.”“Provide for me today.”“Deliver me from temptation.”“Keep my family covered.”And sometimes the most powerful prayer isn’t asking for strength to say no —it’s asking to never even be put in that position. We also talk about the power of praying over your kids — future spouses, teachers, protection, purpose — and how looking back years later, you can see God’s faithfulness woven through it all.You can’t complain about what you never prayed about. And you can’t underestimate the impact of consistent intercession.Whether you’re praying for your marriage, your children, your workplace, or just trying to survive teaching math and piano lessons… prayer changes things.👍 Like the video📤 Share it with someone who needs encouragement🔔 Subscribe so you don’t miss an episode#WakeUp #WakeUpBibleStudy #Matthew6 #HowToPray #TheLordsPrayer #ChristianLiving #FaithInAction #PrayWithoutCeasing #ParentingWithPrayer #Intercession #PrayingMom #PrayingDad #FaithJourney #DailyDevotional #CoverYourFamily

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up! ☀️Today we’re in Psalm 92:13 — “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish.”When you think about being planted, you think about roots 🌱Roots take time.Roots require stability.Roots grow deep when they’re not constantly uprooted.A tree doesn’t flourish by being moved every season. It flourishes by staying planted in good soil. The same is true for our lives, our marriages, and especially our kids.Studies even show that families who consistently attend church experience stronger marriages, happier kids, and healthier outcomes overall 📊Being planted means:✔ Staying through growth seasons✔ Staying through disagreements✔ Staying when it’s not perfect✔ Letting your roots go deepFlourishing doesn’t happen overnight.
