Whilst prayer is such an important part of our lives. The disciples saw this, and they asked Jesus to teach them to pray. But when we become focused on a specific formula and the 'magic key' for successful prayers, and then our prayers don't get answered the way we think they should, we can become discouraged and even start to think that there is something wrong with how we pray. Instead of focusing on "How we should pray", consider asking yourself "Why I pray". Our prayer for you is that as you listen to this message, you will be inspired to explore for yourself why it is that you pray, and in doing so, that your personal relationship with God will go to new heights.

We all need to rest. In this fast-paced world, rest is important. Rest is even God's idea. He worked 6 days and then rested. But have you ever wondered why He wants us to rest? Just because we don't live in Bible times, where idols were created to represent gods that people worship, doesn't mean we don't have idols that we need to deal with today. A mosaic is an image made of many small REGULAR or IRREGULAR pieces of varying substance, colour and shapes JOINED TOGETHER to create an alternate image”. The church - the body of Christ - can be thought of as a Photographic Mosaic, made up of people like you and me. We all have our place and we all have a purpose. Unfortunately, many people struggle to believe that God could or would want to use them. In this message, we see how God's Word very clearly tells us how much He truly values us. Once you can grasp how much He truly values you, then you begin to see the possibilities of what can be done when you partner with Him. Without a doubt, God really is madly in love with you.

What is your first thought when God asks you to do something that seems impossible? In Jeremiah 1, we see God calling Jeremiah to be a prophet to the nations. Even though he tried to argue with God, He wasn't let off that easily, and through God's direction, he was able to see what God saw for him. Isaiah 40:31 “But those who WAIT on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” If asked, most of us would likely want to see a genuine move of God, but are we really prepared to pay the price for that to happen? There are times we feel like we are waiting for God to do something, but more often than not, He is waiting on us. As we prepare to remember and celebrate Pentecost Sunday, this message will help prepare you from a perspective that you may not have considered before - one of 'waiting...'

Everything Paul did, he did with eternity in mind. This message was the final message as Lead Pastor at CityLight Church and is an encouragement for all of us to continue pressing in. Keep running the race until you get heaven, because what God appoints you for He anoints you for. Keep in step with Him, and don't ever give up.
