Been a long time since our last pod (remember the Dennis Schroeder era?) and so much has happened. The Warriors got Jimmy Butler! Wiggins plays for Miami now, and Luca for the Lakers?!? The Pacers and Thunder are one game from their first ever championship, our favorite Warriors reporter Anthonly Slater has left the Athletic to write for ESPN... and Felix turned 15! In this 20 minute episode we cover a lot of ground, give our final finals prediction and end this season of Untucked Shorts on an upbeat note. Enjoy!

In the last 23-minute episode of 2024 your hosts diag nose the W's recent slump (be better!), whether Dennis Schroeder is the answer (sort of, but not really) and talk about what the team needs under their Christmas tree (the ability to make free throws would be a nice present). Speaking of the holidays Felix makes an extended analogy between the team and various ornaments and we compare one player to the Shamus, the helper candle on the Menorah. Casting an eye to '25, the hosts differ on the new gimmicks in store at the All-Star game (Marc likes gimmicks!) and give their (optimistic) hot takes for the rest of season (Hey Draymond, are your ears burning?) Before we sign off for winter vacation we wish the Warriors a glide path to avoiding the play-in and our Untucked faithful a happy holiday and great new year.

The Warriors are off to a great start this season and Felix and Marc talk about the reasons why. New players making contributions, veterans playing as well as they ever have, and team chemistry riding high. Plus, the Captains hats at Chase for Klay's return with the Mavericks helped a little too. It's the first episode of season 4 of Untucked Shorts. Hosts Felix and Marc have moved to Washington D.C., but their heart - and NBA loyalty - is still in San Francisco. In this show we evaluate the summertime moves the Warriors made to upgrade around the edges, predict our starting 5 for the new season and the best case scenarios to improve on the W's play-in game flame out last season. We give props to Curry and Kerr for getting it done in Paris (and at the DNC), and Felix reflects on Klay's departure, and how the Warriors will never be quite the same.

The NBA Season is over but there is a lot to talk about! In this 22 minute episode, we summarize the games that took place in our long absence since recording, as well as look at the ‘glow ups’ of certain Dubs over the last 22 game stretch. After a sadly sponsorless break we listen to Felix’s HOT TAKE, and how the Warriors can “Fight the Power!” when it comes to the upcoming play in.

After a break from the Pod, Felix and Marc look at the next months with optimism. In this 25 minute episode, Marc looks at the return of Draymond and his contributions, as Felix reports his findings based off of his guesstimation math on the Dubs sweetspot record heading into April. Episode 60 is a glass half full episode, so make sure to listen!!!!!

The season is hanging in the balance and the Warriors are looking for answers. Felix and Marc go a little long in this 25 minute episode unpacking the complicated questions confronting the team. In the second half of the show the gloves come off as Felix shares how he really feels. Podz is a "black hole of minutes absorbing other players' potential," Coach Kerr is "out of it," and after all these blown leads, inconsistent play and mismanaged rotations Felix declares: "I do not like the Warriors and where they're going." Tune in for an emotional show.

Criticisms abound as Felix and Marc get into all that’s gone wrong in the Warrior’s rocky start to the season. And yet, Felix goes on record (accurately) predicting a Warriors win vs the NBA best Celtics. This 20 minute episode touches on Draymond's indefinite suspension, includes questionable research on our Warrior of the Week and loads of insight you've come to expect from Untucked Shorts.

In this 22 minute episode, the podcaster and podcaster look at the treacherous homestead (0-6!) that adds a sour note to the start of the season. With a wide range of discussions, from Hollywood screenplay ideas to Superman analogies, this episode assigns blame for the Warriors' recent blunders but is capped with an optimistic prediction for the next 5 games.

Only 2 games into the new Warriors season but that doesn't stop us from giving our early impressions of CP3 (pretty good), Moses Moody (really good!) and Andrew Wiggins (um, not so good). Also in this episode we talk about the good, and the not so good NBA sleepwalkers, Felix reboots our Warrior of the Week segment with a deep dive on Dario Saric (including an on-point Nintendo reference), and now that Jordan Poole is gone we ask the question: which Warrior is going to rock the mustache this season? The NBA season is winding down and your hosts clear up some confusion about the controversial Warriors-as-a-burrito analogy from episode 50. Then it's on to business in this 18 minute pod: The Lakers and Celtics are out (sorry Untucked Shorts fans in Beantown) and we talk about the finals where the biggest of itches (Nikola Jokic) and Felix's main man Jimmy Butler square off in a rare 8 vs 1 seed showdown. Your hosts have different takes on who will win and their reasoning is based in logic and superstition (can you guess who is who?). Along the way Felix coins a few new phrases too. The Warriors seasons ends in a fizzle to the Lakers in game 6 of the 2nd round of the playoffs, but Felix and Marc see the season as a glass half-full and have a few uplifting words for any W's fans who are feeling down.
