Description

Faithfully living out the great commission to make disciples of Jesus can feel overwhelming. Where do I begin with my lost family, friends, and neighbors? What should I say? What if they ask questions I don’t know the answer to? If you struggle to share the gospel joyfully, consistently, and confidently? You’re not alone. Take a journey with us as we engage in practical discussions on relationship evangelism, one step at a time! Stepping Stones is a new podcast of Living Hope Church in Shrewsbury, PA, hosted by one of our elders, Chris Repp.

So she started a Bible study and invited people through a Facebook group. Many of the women who came weren’t even Christians yet—but they were searching. In this episode she shares how God carried her from a difficult childhood to building a family of faith and creating a place where other women can explore Jesus together.

On this episode of Steppingstones, I talk with my old friend Brent about teaching students, walking through a long crisis of faith, and how skepticism didn’t destroy his faith—it softened his heart for people who don’t believe in Jesus yet. An honest conversation about doubt, compassion, and following Jesus with humility.

Not everybody who comes to church is Christian, yet. Again, this week I get to talk with Tim and Holly Stello, and Pastor Tim Dance about how we all play a part in showing them the love of God. And telling them the good news of Jesus. How can you participate in our Sunday morning mission field? Listen in and absorb some great ideas.

This week, we will listen to a clip from Pastor Matt's sermon. He wonderfully tells the story of the gospel. Aside from inspiring us, it should encourage us to develop our own sense of how we can tell the story, and pray for opportunities to share that story with our friends and family, neighbors, and coworkers.
When I arrived at a job in DC last week and my customer was cussing and smoking from the start, I mistakenly thought he was a closed door to evangelism. Boy was I wrong! I'm excited to share this story of how God included me in 40 years of sowing and reaping in another person's life. Hopefully it will encourage us all to take the leap and start gospel conversations in our every day lives too.
