Do you see Jesus as some sort of pale weak hippy looking dude with long stringy hair walking around in sandals with a peace sign? If you believe that, you are mistaken. Can I tell you how powerful Jesus Christ is? About 700 years before Jesus Christ was born, Isaiah announced the birth of Israel’s Messiah. The prophet’s vision stretched forward through the years from Christ’s lowly birth in Bethlehem to His glorious future reign in the New Jerusalem when there will be unspoiled peace under Messiah’s rule: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6). Put on the shoes of Peace – by once and for all accepting Jesus as your saviour. He accepts you just as you are. 

Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. Death is real. It’s not false evidence. But it’s not Truth that Death is permanent. It is not the Truth that you just go to sleep and there’s no hope. It is not True that your life doesn’t matter and that it doesn’t matter how you live your life because you just go to sleep when you die and there’s nothing else after life. That’s why TRUTH is so important. God is Truth. Jesus proclaimed to his followers, I AM the Way, The Truth and the Life! No man /or woman can come to the Father without me. He is the bridge – truth – from death to eternal life.

Death in our culture, is traditionally a taboo subject. We don’t talk about it in our homes, unless it finds its way in our family or friends, which, eventually it does, then we are of course, totally unprepared for it; we don’t’ talk about it at school. And even at church, we rarely discuss it unless the minister is talking about it in passing in a sermon or the pastor is officiating a funeral. The next piece of weaponry is The Breast Plate of Righteousness! Eph. 6: 14- ‘…and having on the breastplate of righteousness,’ Amplified: ‘…and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,’ Righteousness is termed as a weapon; it is our breastplate. We know righteousness is a weapon since Paul calls it such in several places in the scriptures: Righteousness is called a breastplate- ·2Cor. 6:7- ‘…by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.’ ·Isa. 59: 17- ‘for He put on righteousness as a breastplate…’ So how do we use the breastplate as a defensive weapon? Stay tuned and find out. 

Many people see Position as an office in which a person is employed in, such as a Manager or Clerk. or perhaps a political position in which you have been voted in. But there’s another way to look at it: A Royal One. In which a person has inherited that position. ..they are born into it! They didn’t earn it or rally votes for it; they accepted and received it as their legacy. Your position as a believer is of Eternal Royalty!.

We are on the 6th part of our series entitled: How to Put to Death, The Fear of Death. Yes, you can finally Live in Peace, Free of Bondage of Fear of Death!” In today’s episode – I am going to lay out for you the spiritual warfare blueprint and strategy the Lord has given us to defeat the enemy of fear of death in our lives. For the last 5 episodes – we talked about the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit, and the shield of faith. We have 3 more pieces of armor to discuss.... but the Holy spirit is leading me to take a pause on introducing them just yet. They are great and amazing, and you will find them to be essential in our fight against the fear of death; - but I can’t go any further until we lay some more foundational truths and groundwork which will pave the way for the last 3 pieces of armor. When our Foe, fear of death sends arrows of doubt, try to scare us with emotions from our past, or the what ifs try to terrorize us…. Then we raise up our Shield of Faith, because it knows and recognizes the deceptiveness of Satan’s tactics and quickly extinguishes the arrows. Romans 8:1-2 -   Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Did anyone have to teach you to lie as a child? No. In this episode, I will discuss the nature of man/womankind and why we need the Defensive weapon of the helmet of salvation. I will reveal to you the aspects of the heart and why it's dangerous to be led by your heart... yet our heart needs protecting. 

Via this episode, I will reveal to you a deadly move to the head of our enemy, Fear of Death followed by an uppercut to by attacking wrong thoughts and an unrenewed mind-sets.  I left you with a cliff-hanger last time and now -I will reveal how to get the most important body armor - The Helmet of Salvation! With this important protective gear, we can take every thought captive that does not line up with God’s word. Not only that, but I will also coach you through the steps of obtaining the mind of Christ by renewing our thoughts through Christ’s sacred work of dying on the Cross. I will walk you through life changing and transformational Scriptures and prayer! 

In this Episode we will begin our training on how to fight the good fight of faith. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 says: 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6 being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete! Our first move will be the offensive blow to the head of our enemy (Fear of death).  In this episode we will strike the enemy with a blinding blow to the HEAD. The HEAD represents the mind, thoughts, and thought patterns.

Now, maybe a soldier or Martial Artist. Whatever you choose, I want you to picture yourself…, ready to defeat your opponent, your enemy. Now picture your enemy – FEAR of death. Think about that, death is not the enemy; Fear of Death is the enemy. This is profound and pivotal as you begin to understand that what you have been fearing is Fear itself. This is why we are going to dismantle it and take the first steps to taking its power over you away. In this episode;  I am going to walk you through two Offensive Moves to combat wrong thinking, misinformation, and thoughts that lead to tormenting fears.
