We have a HUGE weekend ahead of us! Ole Miss is fighting for a playoff spot while their coach flirts with LSU and Florida, Ohio State trying to beat Michigan for the first time since 2019, Texas A&M has to beat Texas to go undefeated in the regular season for the first time since 1992, Miami has to win AT Pittsburgh in 35 degree weather to TRY and make the CFP, Oregon must win at Washington to stay alive in the CFP and Alabama must win at Auburn to keep their CFP hopes alive. McElroy goes through every big game and gives you the questions that will determine all the big games.

The coaching carousel is the craziest we have ever seen in college football, with Lane Kiffin as the most desired coach since Nick Saban (or maybe Urban Meyer). Ole Miss is trying to keep him (in the middle of a historic run with the Rebels) while Florida and LSU are throwing everything they have at him. What will he do? McElroy uses his sources to tell you what he is hearing about Kiffin's future, plus goes into who has the inside track for the head coaching jobs at Penn State, Auburn, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Cal and Stanford.

Can Oklahoma’s offense do enough to win a CFP game, are we underrating Oregon as a complete team, will Arch Manning and the Texas offense be the great “what if” of 2025 and who could get two teams in the CFP - the BIG 12 or the ACC? McElroy gives you his Top 10 takeaways from the weekend and tells you why we need to reassess teams ranked 11-14, why Notre Dame’s dominance might not be enough, why he’s happy that the THIS SEC weekend is off the books and who is in the College Football Playoff

Utah survived at home vs Kansas State and kept their slim playoff hopes alive, Pitt jumped all over Georgia Tech ending the Yellowjacks ACC and CFP dreams, Miami and Oregon both won, while Notre Dame dominated Syracuse with a 63 point victory. Ohio State, Texas and Michigan all looked good in victory heading into the last week of the regular season and the defining weekend for the college football playoff. McElroy gives you his reaction on a chalky week 13.

Scott Van Pelt and Stanford Steve recap all of the action from Week 13 of the college football season. Starting with what happened on the Farm, the Big Man was THRILLED to see Frank Reich, Andrew Luck and the boys get a win. But the best game of the day was where GameDay was, as Oregon got past USC. Georgia Tech also got upset in the night slate, further complicating things for the ACC. Plus, thoughts on Notre Dame’s domination over Syracuse and who should be ahead: ND or Miami? Ohio State also dominated again, as the Buckeyes have simply steamrolled through B1G competition. Also, thoughts on Wisconsin, Washington State, Penn State, the G5, Vanderbilt, Utah, Oklahoma and more. Finally, when Christmas season truly starts and Steve’s goodbye message to Cal. | SVPod

With two weeks remaining in the college football regular season the new CFP rankings came out and saw Alabama drop to #10 and Miami move up to #13. Could the Tide miss the CFP with a loss in the SEC Championship, does Miami have to win BIG enough to jump BYU and Utah, is Notre Dame safe in the CFP at #9 and what if USC beats Oregon? McElroy gives his indepth reaction to the latest CFP rankings.

The pressure is on as the season winds down for teams in the middle of the CFP race. Oklahoma, fresh off a win at Alabama, heads to a dangerous Missouri team, while Miami is gearing up for a season-defining stretch that starts at Virginia Tech (we don’t think James Franklin will be on the sidelines). USC and Oregon will battle in Eugene with the winner having the inside track as the 3rd team from the BIG 10 in the CFP. Notre Dame and Utah look to avoid let downs at home while Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech fight for the top of the ACC and Cincinnati could throw the BIG 12 into chaos with an upset win at home over BYU.

Then, SVP shares what he thought the overall theme was on the day and why it was important for certain teams to prevail. Oklahoma is now in prime position to make the CFP for the first time since 2019, Georgia looks like they are peaking at the right time, Texas A&M continues to find ways to win and the SEC’s path to getting 5 teams in the CFP is becoming very clear. Plus, there were dominating performances from Ohio State, Indiana, Miami and Texas Tech. Notre Dame looks like a playoff team but they might not control their own destiny and the group 5 (and ACC) are still in chaos. McElroy breaks it all down in his Top 10 takeaways from Week 12.

What a Saturday in college football! Oklahoma took down Alabama at home, Georgia destroyed Texas, Texas A&M rallies from down 30-3 to stun South Carolina and keep their undefeated season alive and Ole Miss fights off a pesky Florida team to keep their CFP hopes alive. There could be some CFP clarity after this weekend OR things could get even more convoluted. With GameDay in town, Pittsburgh will try to end Notre Dame’s CFP dreams as the Irish stand under the college football microscope, Texas heads to Georgia looking to keep their CFP hopes alive (even with a loss they could still beat A&M and make things VERY interesting), while Alabama welcomes Oklahoma to town a year after the Sooners ended the Tides playoff dreams. BYU, Louisville and Virginia are looking to bounce back and stay alive in conference races, while Texas A&M and USC try to keep things rolling. McElroy breaks it all down for you in his week 12 previews.

Indiana showed they have the “guts” to win a game at the end, Oregon continues to grow up right in front of our eyes and Texas Tech sends a message to the college football world. Notre Dame and Ohio State keep rolling, the Heisman race is starting to narrow while the Group of 5 race is heating up. All that and more as McElroy goes over his top 10 takeaways from week 11

Greg McElroy breaks down his TOP 10 takeaways from Week 9 of the college football season. Starting with Texas A&M’s dominant win over LSU in Baton Rouge, Greg acknowledges that THIS is the moment the Aggies have officially arrived.
