The Fool for Christ

Sarah and I talk a little about vision and well we just have a little too much fun together. God has a vision for your life and it is rooted in the revelation of Jesus as Lord and Savior.

It's that time of year again - the Christmas season is upon us! I'm feeling excited about what God has in store for us during this special time of year. Let's all strive to bring Him glory in everything we do. In today's podcast, we'll explore how God used Mary as an instrument of His will and how we too can be used for His purpose if we seek His will and humble ourselves before Him.

He will never leave you never. The real question is are you walking with Him?

Stop listening to yourself and start talking to yourself. There is hope!

Whose glory are you living for?

There are so many unkind people in this world... We as believers should not add to their number so let's strive to seek the Lord and in so doing pursue kindness as we remember it was the kindness of God that lead us to Him...

Human anger is not an awesome emotion. It leads us to say and do so many things that we later regret. In this life we will absolutely feel anger because of our depravity. But as believers Christ has not left us unable to entrust our anger to Him. That is what I am seeking to do whenever I feel this emotion of anger rise up. I seek to entrust it to the one who said vengeance is mine I will repay and that is the Lord alone.

We need to test what is spoken to us and we must use the Word of God to test all things... Also, this podcast is short because my dog decided to bark when one of my neighbors came to my front door... We are doing things super professionally here on the Fool For Christ! But I hope you enjoy up until the part that my dog barks...

It's more than an Aretha Franklin song. We, as believers, should seek to show respect to all people as we are called to do so in the Word of God. Far too often, we think people need to earn respect to be shown respect. I believe that to be a lie from the devil. I say that because the one who created them is worthy of respect and made in His image. So even if they are not worthy of respect because none of us indeed are the one who made us is worthy, and we are made in His image.

Are you a person who shows mercy? If not its about time you become one and that is as true for me as it is anyone else. We need to remember if we do not show mercy we will not be shown it... So today let us stand with courage let us stand with our God and be people of mercy.

I am reminded of that song there is joy in the house of the Lord today. I pray that you find moments of joy today with the Lord. I pray that you focus on the good in life and not all the bad. The devil would love nothing more than to keep you a prisoner stuck in the weeds of chaos of trouble of hardship, but today even if you are in the weeds look up and the sun might just be shining... Look up because there is a way out and the Lord wants you to be free!

We all need grace as Christians we are called upon to be people of grace because we have been transformed by God’s grace.

It’s time for us to step up and be doers. It is time for us to stop expecting church to be done for us and it is time for us to be the church. Are we building Christian enclaves or are we building alters to the living God?

Are you lukewarm or are you hot or cool? The real question is are you being useful for the Lord and His Kingdom?

We live in a world saturated with spiritual food, so why do so many Christians feel like they are starving? It may be time to put down the spiritual potato chips and eat something that will give you lasting nourishment. Thank you for listening and I pray the Lord blesses you!
