What are my thoughts about The Yankees and their Spring Training so far? Let's talk about that. We'll get into Spencer Jones being optioned to AAA, a post that I saw on X about Tatis Jr. and the WBC as well.Plus a lot of other Spring Training stuff that I think looks good as we inch closer to the 2026 season getting started soon.Interested in 9Strap technology? Let's chat about why I'm sore, the progress we've made with wedding planning, the W.B.C. and of course The NY Yankees on this episode.Judge is looking like he's ready to go for not only the W.B.C. but also the regular season.Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy this weeks show.Need help with your hitting (mental and physical)? It would seem that the NY Yankees have a different approach at the plate so far and I like it. They're not all trying to hit the ball out of the ball park, they're putting the ball in play and being very selective at the plate (at least most of them). Let's chat about that and some of the other positives that I've seen in Spring Training so far. Please don't forget to like, share, subscribe, follow and rate the podcast please. If you'd like to contact Matt Hallock and Hallock's Hitting Garage - CLICK HEREInterested in the 9Strap - CLICK HEREFor all things Star Wars - CLICK HERE
Spring Training games have officially started and I couldn't be happier about that. The Yankees started a little shaky in their 1st game but turned it on huge in their 2nd game. Let's talk about that shall we? I'll also get into the comments that Aaron Judge made about the off-season, Ryan McMahon getting reps at SS and Jazz Chisolm says he's going to be in the 50/50 club this year.I'll give my thoughts on all of that in this episode.Thank you for listening!
Spring Training has officially begun!! We got mostly good news about the team heading into Spring. Cam is dealing with a "back thing" but the concern is super low about that. However, there's still a lot of questions. What's the plan for Jasson Dominguez? What will the lineup look like. Will the teams approach be any different at the plate this season? When will we have Cole and Carlos back?Let's talk about all of that and more.
Why can't the front office of the New York Yankees just be honest with the fanbase? Let's talk about it. It's ok to admit that you're just running it back with basically the same team as last season, just say that. Let's chat about Jasson Dominguez possibly starting the season in AAA. Let's talk about bringing Goldy back. Let's talk about the changes that need to be made with the coaching staff and why. Then we'll dive into some deeper conversation about this year's Super Bowl and the highly debated half-time show that we're getting, yes both of them. Let's talk about key demos for the NFL. Let's talk about what the NFL is trying to do, Globally. Let's take a step out of our selfish thinking and look at things from a different perspective for a minute.Let's talk about it all.
Let's talk about how Brian Cashman and Aaron Boone love to tell Yankees fans stuff that we know isn't true. They do it all the time as if we don't watch games or have knowledge of things that are going on with the team. Also, I'm going to talk more about Lebron James and his constant campaign of being the GOAT. He's trying SO hard to put himself in that conversation. Thanks for listening, hope you enjoy the show.9Strap Technology - CLICK HEREHallock's Hitting Garage - CLICK HERE
Belli is back in pinstripes!! Let's talk about his deal and what he means to the team heading into the 2026 season. I'm also gonna get into what I think needs to change with The Yankees offense and how they could be a better team with pretty much the same lineup as last year (if that's what we're going to have at the start of the season). I'll also get into the way Yankees fans act online and just in general. Sure, it's not all Yankees fans but certainly a section of them.
Another week with The Yankees doing next to nothing this off-season. They traded for Ryan Weathers and that's it. Kyle Tucker is off the board, Bo Bichette is off the board. Oh and both are making more money per year than Aaron Judge, which is wild.Let's talk about all of that, shall we?
Another week, another show! This episode I'll give my thoughts on who I think is actually ruining baseball. Here's a hint, it's not The Dodgers or any organization. I'll also talk about The Yankees and Cody Bellinger. Plus some other stuff. Please take a minute to like, subscribe, follow and rate the podcast. Happy New Year and thank you for listening! When the off-season started I was patient but as we keep moving forward, my patients are starting to wear a little thin. The front office has done nothing to really improve the lineup or starting rotation. What are they waiting for? Are they simply content with what they already have? What are The Yankees doing? Let's talk about it.Need hitting help? Please reach out to Matt Hallock of Hallock's Hitting Garage - CLICK HEREThe best hitting tool on the market is the 9Strap. It's the final episode of 2025 so let's take some time to reflect on the year that way and the evolution of what this podcast has become over the past few months. Thank you to everyone that takes time to listen to what I have to say week after week. Without you and your support, it's just me sitting in a room talking to myself for an extended period of time.Check out 9Strap Technology - CLICK HERECheck out Hallock Hitting Garage - CLICK HEREAll things Star Wars - CLICK HERE
Happy Holidays to all!Not a whole lot of baseball stuff going on with The Yankees at the moment, there is some and that will be discussed on the show, but I thought I'd chime in on the GOAT discussion when it comes to the NBA this week.Is it Jordan? Is it Lebron? I'd say the title of this episode gives my answer away at this point. But let's talk about the impact that Jordan had on the game when he played and how his presence is still felt many years later. If you're a LBJ fan and you listen, then open your mind and allow what I'm saying to be taken in with a common sense approach. Let your bias go and just listen.Hope you enjoy it. And if you feel some type of way about what I said then message me and we can discuss. Keep it civil though. Anything less than that will not be taken serious.Interested in 9Strap Technology? Not a whole lot going on in the world of the Yankees right now. Nothing happened at The Winter Meetings for the team. Nothing really goin with any of the MLB teams out side of a few free agent signings. That being said there are a few things to talk about like Jeff Kent getting into the HOF, Yankees fans being spoiled and more. Oh and the talk of a possible Jazz trade. I'll give my thoughts on what might happen with that.Check out 9Strap Technology - CLICK HEREContact Matt Hallock from Hallock's Hitting Garage - CLICK HERE
Winter meetings are starting today so let's hope that The Yankees make some moves and don't just sit back and let everyone else cook. Other than that, this week I'm talking about Devin Williams signing with The Mets, Sonny Gray and his foolish comments and also Josh Reddick saying that Altuve didn't use "the system" that The Astros had in place during the 2017 season.Thank you all for your continued support of the show. It's the post Thanksgiving show. So let's talk about what Hal Steinbrenner had to say about The Yankees and their financial "situation". Apparently it's not fair for us to think that the team is turning a profit? Alriiighty??I also talk about some moves that the team could make in the off-season and some possible trades that may come about.Want to learn about or purchase 9Strap Technology? From Trent accepting the QO bringing him back to the Bronx for 2026 to the guys that the team is letting walk to a few of the guys that the team is holding on to for next season.I'll talk about some possible trades that may or may not happen as well. As I predicted, Aaron Judge won the 2025 American League MVP. It was close but at the end of the day the right person won. Let's break down what I think happened and why Judge won the award. I'll dive into the NL MVP and give some thoughts about what happened there and also compare the NL award and the AL award. I'll also break down what MVP actually means, historically. Overall, it's a really fun episode. Hope you enjoy it!If you'd like to reach out to Matt Hallock at Hallock's Hitting Garage - CLICK HEREIf you'd like to check out 9Strap Technology - CLICK HERE
What Cal Raleigh did this season was absolutely amazing and historic BUT so is what Aaron Judge did. The 2nd part of that sentence seems to be forgotten and not talked about all that much. Judge was able to do something that only 2 other MLB players have ever done in the history of the game. Yet all the conversations that you hear are about Cal hitting 60 HR's as a catcher. Amazing? Yes. MVP worthy? Sure, IF Aaron Judge didn't have the season that he had.
