The San Francisco 49ers are underdogs once again as they face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL Divisional Round playoff—and history may be repeating itself. After upsetting the Eagles on the road, the 49ers vs Seahawks rivalry takes center stage with a trip to the NFC Championship on the line. In this video, I break down why the 49ers have the edge and how they can pull off another playoff upset. We dive into key advantages including Kyle Shanahan’s game plan, momentum from the Eagles win, Christian McCaffrey’s impact, trench dominance with Trent Williams back, and a defense built to force turnovers. I also explain why Seattle’s strengths may actually play into San Francisco’s hands and how familiarity in this NFC West rivalry changes everything.
The San Francisco 49ers travel to Philadelphia as underdogs in this NFL Wild Card playoff matchup, but the numbers and film tell a different story. In this video, I break down why the 49ers vs Eagles game sets up as a dangerous matchup for Philly and where San Francisco holds key advantages in the 2026 NFL Playoffs. We dive into Kyle Shanahan’s coaching edge, Brock Purdy’s playoff command, and Christian McCaffrey’s matchup against a vulnerable Eagles run defense. I also analyze how Robert Saleh’s defense can slow down Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, plus the impact of special teams, injuries, and the 49ers’ road-tested roster. With the Eagles resting starters in Week 18 and the 49ers battle-tested through adversity, this Wild Card Round matchup could produce a major playoff upset. Can the 49ers shock Philly and advance? Let’s break it down.
Brock Purdy is playing the best football of his career, and the NFL is officially on notice. Over the last two games, Purdy has accounted for 10 total touchdowns (8 passing, 2 rushing) while leading the San Francisco 49ers to massive prime-time wins over the Colts on Monday Night Football and the Bears in a Sunday Night Football shootout. In this video, I break down how a fully healthy Brock Purdy has unlocked a new level of confidence, mobility, and command of Kyle Shanahan’s offense. We dive into the film to show why the “system QB” narrative no longer holds up, how Purdy is elevating the 49ers offense despite injuries, and why his recent play has major NFL playoff and Super Bowl implications. With Purdy rolling and the 49ers surging in the NFC playoff race, the league should be worried. Is this the start of a deep postseason run? Let’s talk.🔥 Like & subscribe for weekly 49ers content!FOLLOW MEX: Ryan_TheigeYT: TheBestInBall

Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers’ star wide receiver, has sparked intense drama, splitting fans into fervent supporters and vocal critics. The saga ignited after the 49ers’ Super Bowl LVIII loss in 2024, when Aiyuk, frustrated by his contract and limited postseason role, posted cryptic social media messages hinting at unrest. His girlfriend and brother’s comments fueled trade speculation, while his $14.1 million fifth-year option lagged behind the soaring receiver market. By July 2024, Aiyuk requested a trade, rejecting offers from the Browns and Patriots while eyeing the Steelers or Commanders. His public antics, including a TikTok claiming the 49ers didn’t want him, drew ire from analysts who called his behavior “immature.” After a contentious holdout, Aiyuk signed a four-year, $120 million extension on August 30, 2024, but his 2024 season fizzled—374 yards, no touchdowns in seven games—before an ACL and MCL tear against the Chiefs ended it.In 2025, Aiyuk stirred further controversy with an Instagram story referencing Terrell Owens’ 2005 Eagles dispute, prompting a 49ers insider to brand him “toxic.” This deepened the fan divide. Supporters argue Aiyuk’s elite route-running and 1,342-yard 2023 season prove his worth, blaming his injury, not attitude, for 2024’s woes. They see him as crucial, especially post-Deebo Samuel. Critics, however, view Aiyuk as a “diva” whose social media stunts and holdout disrupted team chemistry, contributing to a lackluster 2024. Some question his $30 million salary and advocate trading him before the 2025 deadline to avoid locker room issues. The Aiyuk saga highlights the clash between player value and team unity. As he rehabs for 2025, his ability to perform and mend fences will decide if he can reconcile a fractured fanbase, torn between his undeniable talent and perceived disruptions.Appreciate you watchin! There's been A LOT of Brock Purdy opinions since he became the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers back in his rookie year in 2022. As we know, Brock Purdy and his team is actively seeking a new contract with the team and we also know the 49ers have had some "issues" with other players in their most recent contract negotiations. But when it comes to a quarterback contract, this is the rare circumstance the Owner of the team will get involved especially considering these QB deals typically range over $100+ million. Well the internet was a buzz following the most recent comments made from the 49ers owner, Jed York while being interviewed at the NFL's annual owners meeting in Florida. Since this is the period where much is happening around the NFL streets, I thought it'd be a good time to break down Brock Purdy's current contract situation and the most likely outcome. We'll be sure to discuss Purdy's performance since being QB1, who's got the leverage, QB comps, 49ers cap situation, and the key factors in the deal.Appreciate you watching the vid! Despite finishing last in the division last year and losing key players in free agency, the 49ers are the betting favorites across all sportsbooks to claim the NFC West title! In this video, we dive deep into why oddsmakers are backing the Niners, focusing on their biggest advantage: a favorable 4th-place schedule after their 6-11 record in 2024. We’ll break down how this lighter schedule could propel them to the top, even with the Los Angeles Rams signing star wide receiver Davante Adams and the Seattle Seahawks adding quarterback Sam Darnold and wide receiver Cooper Kupp to their roster. From roster changes to key matchups, we’ll explore the 49ers’ path to redemption in the NFC West.Appreciate you watching this EPS! Please be sure to like, comment, and subscribe to the channel! Today, on this episode, we’re tackling the question: Are the 49ers in a rebuild? Cause that's what it seems like everyone is sayin. A quick news flash, the answer: No—they’re retooling. Despite a tough 6-11 season in 2024 and key departures like Dre Greenlaw (Broncos), Talanoa Hufanga (Broncos), Charvarius Ward (Colts), Aaron Banks (Packers), Elijah Mitchell (Chiefs), Kyle Juszczyk (released), and Deebo Samuel (traded to Commanders), this isn’t a full reset. A rebuild tears down a roster; a retool adjusts a competitive one. When a team is in a real "rebuild" they trade their most valuable players to acquire draft picks. which the 49ers AIN'T DOING. The 49ers still have stars like Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams, Nick Bosa, Fred Warner, and Brandon Aiyuk. The moves reflect a shift to get younger and cheaper, with Purdy’s big extension looming. New signings like Mac Jones, Luke Farrell, and Tre Brown add depth, and the 11th overall pick in the 2025 draft will bring fresh talent. Injuries hurt in 2024, but a healthy core keeps this team in contention. Ownership wants a draft-focused approach, but they’re not tanking—they’re building sustainably while aiming for the playoffs in 2025. What do you think? Retool or rebuild? Are the San Francisco 49ers playing a high-stakes negotiating game with their rising star quarterback, Brock Purdy? In this video, we break down how the 49ers are pushing a narrative that there’s no guarantee a contract extension gets done—leaving fans wondering about Purdy’s future with the team. From subtle leaks to calculated statements, we explore how this uncertainty is all part of the NFL’s negotiation playbook. What’s the strategy behind it? Are they testing Purdy’s value or setting the stage for a blockbuster deal? We’ll dive deep into the drama, analyze the 49ers’ tactics, and discuss what this means for Brock Purdy, the team’s roster, and their Super Bowl ambitions. With all the noise that has been stirred up by the 49ers front office in this coordinated release, I'll explain why this doesn't mean much in terms of the money they will pay Purdy but more on how they want to structure his contract. No need to freak out, a deal WILL get done!Hit that subscribe button, like the video, and turn on notifications for the latest 49ers and NFL analysis—don’t miss out!Appreciate you stoppin by and watchin! The 49ers offseason is in full swing as the team looks ahead to crucial decisions under Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch. With NFL news heating up around Brock Purdy's contract negotiations, the 49ers front office is carefully weighing their options while also preparing for the NFL draft. 🏈It wouldn't be a 49ers offseason without a player/contract dispute and Deebo Samuel wasted NO TIME. On Super Bowl Sunday, it was announced that Deebo Samuel is seeking a trade and the 49ers are allowing his agent to find another team. This news was surprising but not really shocking. Deebo is coming off his worse season as a 49er and according to reports, the team is ready to officially move on from the 29 years old hybrid wide receiver/running back. It has become a theme ever since the 49ers started sustaining success, every offseason there has been drama with a player wanting more money. Last year the team had 3 holdouts- Brandon Aiyuk, Christian McCaffrey, and Trent Williams. ALL 3 of those players who got paid, were out most of last season due to injuries. And when the team that expected to be competing for a Super Bowl, it was a rude awakening finishing 6-11 and last in the NFC West. With the most recent reports coming out, this appears to be a different front office- one that is drawing a line in the sand and not going to mess around with players... and for a guy like Deebo who was a made-man in the building, he will be the first in what could be many changes to come as the team looks to retool into a new phase of the Kyle Shanahan- John Lynch era. I can't believe it's already Super Bowl weekend with NFL fans from around the world getting ready to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles. What a difference one year can make......as the 49ers will be watching the game just like all of us vs playing in the Super Bowl just last season. As I've stated before- unless your a Chiefs or Eagles fan, your team has already begun their offseason. And for a 49ers team who had expectations of playing for the lombardi trophy.. they are wasting NO time jumpin into this offseason and BOY they ain't messin around either! As a 49er fanatic, you luhhh to see it! The 49ers announced two recent MASSIVE coaching hires- Robert Saleh BACK as defensive coordinator and Brant Boyer as the new special teams coordinator. Both in their own right are BIG upgrades. In this EPS, I talk about how the 49ers front office moves will help get the team back to dominance in 2025 and why both these hirings is the best possible outcome fans could have hoped for! And this is just the beginning of a much longer offseason to come!Appreciate you watchin!! Please make sure to Like, Comment, and Sub to the channel! Everything helps!!! For many NFL fans, there team isn't one of the two left about to play for the Super Bowl .. meaning many fans around the world are already in offseason mode. There has already been coaches fired, new coaches hired, coordinators promoted , new GMs leading the front office, etc. The NFL never sleeps, there's always news and things happening.
For 49er fans specifically, we have already seen the team make some huge moves - getting Robert Saleh back as there DC once again and most recently the hiring for new Special Teams Coordinator, Brant Boyer (formerly ST coordinator with NY Jets). Both hires are considered MAJOR upgrades which was needed following a disastrous underachieving year. While this puts the team in a great spot right at the jump of the offseason, there is still one major hot topic- the Brock Purdy contract and how much the team is going to pay him.
With this being a highly debated topic (which I won't dive into), a question I have is.... who the hell is Brock Purdy's agent? Who is the guy that will be negotiating a $100M+ deal on Purdy's behalf? Does he have motives? What's his resume?
That's what we'll discuss on this EPS. Who Kyle Strongin is and why I have concluded he will absolutely be fighting to get Brock Purdy TOP money and ultimately reset that QB/NFL market for highest paid player of all time.

he 49ers did NOT have the season anyone had hoped for. The team finished the 2024 NFL season with a 6-11 record and last place in the NFC West.
Leading up to the 2024 season, the 49ers were in PRIME position to take another run at winning the Super Bowl. We'll that didn't happen... not even close as they didn't even make the playoffs. So the question has to be asked, what in the hell happened?! That's what I dive into on this video
In this video I decided to change up the format. I wanted try out more of a movie-style with a voice over. Let me know what you think! I'll be back to my regular style videos next week!

The nfl is hard. And because the 49ers aren't dominating games the way they did last year..... everyone, and I mean everyone is now saying their season is over. According to "fans" and national media "pundits" the 49ers should trade a bunch of star players, rebuild the team, fire all the coaches, and start focusing on the 2025 nfl draft. This is pure comedy to me and I'm here to tell you that just isn't true. In fact, far from it!
The 49ers currently sit at 5-6 and in 4th place in their division. Well the good news the NFC West teams are all a ONE game difference!
SEA Seahawks: 6-5
AZ Cardinals: 6-5
LA Rams: 5-6
SF 49ers: 5-6
With that said it's just so crazy to me people are saying the 49ers season is over. Has it looked ugly thus far, yes. Have they been plagued with injuries, yes (Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, Trent Williams, Fred Warner, George Kittle, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel - just to name a few!). But to deal with that and STILL only be 1 game back from being in first place in their division. With 6 games remaining, the 49ers have complete control of their destiny. This eps we'll discuss why people are being totally over emotional and why the 49ers are in a good spot even more son when you consider what they have already gone through and been dealing with!

Colin Cowherd appears to love giving bad takes specifically regarding the 49ers Welp considering he doesn't "feel" this team is Super Bowl worthy and is "getting old" I'm here to disprove that.
The 49ers have got off to a slow start... which actually has been common under Shanahan era yet over the last 5 seasons the team has been a dominate force within the NFL
In this episode we'll discuss the unbelievable numbers the team is putting up on offense and how Brock Purdy has been absolutely BALLIN!

This is the EXACT problem I have been talking about on countless video's. The National Media and their sports "pundit's" just laughable takes. The most recent winner of the lamest take ever comes from Colin Cowherd (or Uncle Colin as he calls himself) when discussing what NFL QB's he would take over 49ers QB, Brock Purdy. Once you watch the video, you'll see how bad it is. Truly this is an all-timer of being just flat out dumb!
A part of me doesn't believe Colin is being serious and feels more like he's trying to stir the pot and generate clicks... basically doing what ALL national media does.. trying to get fans riled up. BUT if this is how he feels, why would anyone ever want to listen to his sports opinions??? The QBs he listed off as taking over Brock Purdy is comedy. For a QB going into his 3rd NFL season, Brock Purdy was in the top 5 last year for almost all QB metrics and now through week 6 Purdy is in the Top 3..not to mention in his first 2 seasons, took the 49ers to 2 NFC Championship games and 1 Super Bowl appearance. But according to Colin, that wasn't because of QB play. Yet no other QB has ever done that. Instead, he decided to use the false & outdated 'national media talking points' from last year and said the 49ers success is because of the skill players on the 49ers and the coach calling the plays (*smh). So with that hard hitting justification, the best on is Mr. Herd would take rookie BO NIX over Purdy haha. Man, I bet 31 teams would LOVE if Colin were a GM so he could put a ragtag team together and watch him pass on the clear & obvious better/more productive players so they could take.
Why does the goal post keep getting moved for how people (outside of actual 49ers fans and the players/coaches in the building) view Purdy? OR maybe guys like Cowherd understand the 49ers have a MASSIVE fanbase and by playing the "media game" that if they say outlandish things about a TOP NFL QB, it will generate clicks & views. I say it's the ladder.

The 49ers are coming off back to back losses heading into week 4 of the NFL regular season. Their most recent loss vs the LA Rams has caused many fans to turn their attention to first-time defensive coordinator as the defense has been THE glaring issue.
The 49ers who have been known for a physical & stout defense has not been playing anywhere near what they have been in the past. With the team record now at 1-2, it's very clear in both losses, the defense has not been ready to play. They currently rank 30th in avg yard per play given up and 20th in passing yards allowed which you know, ain't great. During the Rams loss, they gave up 111 yards in penalties and got smoked by Matt Stafford and no-name WRs with the Rams best to WRs (Puca & Kupp) both out with injuries as well as a backup offensive line. Yet the 49ers defense STILL could not stop the Rams from driving in the 2nd half and putting points on the board. To add insult to injury, this is when the defense knew the 49ers were without the best skill players (Kittle, Deebo, and CMC). We should be celebrating an unbelievable performance put up by Brock Purdy and WR, Jauan Jennings who finished with 11 REC 175 YDS and 3 TDs.. but no, we're talking about how the defense was unable to hold up while the offense was able to put up 24 points vs the Rams this past Sunday.
This issues aren't solely on the defense of course, the 49ers offense had some big missed opps (e.g. Ronnie Bell with an insanely bad drop) as well as another game of special team missteps that were of epic proportion. BUT, with the defense being mostly healthy (going into the game) their inability to get off the field and allowing of big plays.. the facts show, the defense is the bigger issue at this moment.
The issues for the defense isn't just one spot.. they have issues in coverage and rushing the passer. It also seems apparent the new play caller on the defensive side, Nick Sorensen maybe be guessing on which coverage/play to call. So the question has to be asked: Is he the right guy for the job??
Thanks for watchin! I very much appreciate it! Please make sure to follow!

The 49ers are once again dealing with another major contract dispute. This time however, it is with the BEST offensive tackle in the NFL, Trent Williams.
Seemingly coming out of no where, big boy Trent was a no show at the start of 49ers training camp. As the 49ers put on pads for their second block of training camp, we have yet to see any sighting of the All-Pro tackle. HC, Kyle Shanahan addressed the media following the first day of training camp briefly explaining why the best player on the team is a no show.
Of course, there is only one reason Trent Williams is holding out....MONEY. In 2021 he signed a 6-year $138,000,000 extension with the 49ers and is technically under contract through the 2026 season... the problem? No more guaranteed money in his current deal.
As a part of the CBA, vet players not showing up to mandatory training camp are fined FIFTY thousand dollars ($50K) PER DAY. With huge fines, not may players are able to afford that let alone have any real leverage compared to the team.... unless you're the absolute best, which Trent definitely is. As Trent continue to remain quite, the only sighting we have seen of him since training camp started was when he recently got awarded the exclusive #madden25 #99club (99 rating overall). Outside of that we've heard nothing.
Since left tackles don't grow on tree's and more so when your the very best to ever do it... similar to Nick Bosa contract negotiations, Trent has allllll the leverage... and with the 49ers being ALL IN this year with the last year of QB, Brock Purdy on a rookie deal, the 49ers cannot afford to have Trent sit out much longer.
The 49ers need Trent, more than Trent needs the 49ers which is what I'll be discussing in the episode!
