In this episode, we continue our study of 1st Thessalonians. In chapter four Paul describes the sequence of events that will take place when the Lord returns in glory. We spend a some time on the modern teaching of the "rapture."

In this episode we explore Paul's instructions to the Thessalonians about living a life pleasing to God from the beginning of chapter 4. To summarize it briefly, Paul calls us to live holy and pure lives that are overflowing with love in preparation for our eternal life in union with the Trinity.

In this episode we look at chapter three of First Thessalonians. Paul has finally received good news from Thessolonica and is filled with joy and thanksgiving. He reminds the Thessalonians that suffering is to be expected as a Christian and prays for them to increase and abound in love. It is interesting to reflect on the contents of the Gospel that Paul was preaching in the early days of Christianity.

We continue our in depth study of Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians. In this chapter Paul discusses his ministry to the Thessalonians. He reveals his great love for them and his desire to see them. Lots of practical applications for us as we endeavor to share our faith with friends, family and strangers!
