Imagine it. Your a player, its the 89th minute, you score a goal for your club that could be the difference between European Football, The Title or Relegation and then in the corner of your eye you see the dreaded sign.Checking Goal? Checking Foul?Your heart sinks. The referee has given it, the crowd celebrate wildly in jubilation. Surely theres nothing wrong. Then confirmation. Someone not even in the stadium has disallowed it. Down and out you continue the game. You lose. Title gone, relegation confirmed... whatever the scenario. And then you find out its wrong!Well Wolverhampton Wanders today have put a proposal in place to SCRAP VAR and return to the days prior to long stoppages, confusion and frustration. And bloody hell, we are right behind them!Craig explains here the arguments proposed by Wolves and the counter argument from the Premier League that supposedly 82% of the decisions were correct before VAR and that has increased to 96% of the decisions are correct with VAR (what basis?) before he gives his expert analysis on why it should be scrapped not just for clubs and fans but also referees. Here are Wolves' arguments in all their glory:- Impact on goal celebrations and the spontaneous passion that makes football special.- Frustration and confusion inside stadiums due to lengthy VAR checks and poor communication.- A more hostile atmosphere with protests, booing of Premier League anthem and chants against VAR.- Overreach of VAR's original purpose to correct clear and obvious mistakes, now overanalysing subjective decisions and compromising the game's fluidity and integrity.- Diminished accountability of on-field officials, due to safety net of VAR, leading to an erosion of authority on the pitch.- Continued errors despite VAR, with supporters unable to accept human error after multiple views and replays, damaging confidence in officiating standards.- Disruption of the Premier League's fast pace with lengthy VAR checks and more added time, causing matches to run excessively long.- Constant discourse about VAR decisions often overshadowing the match itself, and tarnishing the reputation of the league.- Erosion of trust and reputation, with VAR fuelling completely nonsensical allegations of corruption.Let us know what you think in the comments below! AFC Bournemouth last time out ran out winners against a Brighton & Hove Albion side who finished sixth in the Premier League last term. The Cherries are in fine form which is the last thing the residents of N7 want to hear! The Gunners are aiming to bring the Premier League crown back to the Emirates, 20 years after they won their last top flight trophy and sit in pole position but with Manchester City and their billions (plus 115 charges but we won't mention that) sat behind them, any slip now could prove costly and critical in the title race.We welcomed back onto UTCIAD our friends at @AFTVmedia - best known as Arsenal Fan TV - to discuss the season, the criticism last term of Mikel Arteta, what Arsenal fans think of our manager Andoni Iraola and how he compares to his compatriot, The Declan Rice effect, the long awaited return of Jurrien Timber and if he may play and if the Gunners can do it.Joining us from AFTV is one of the lead presenters on the show - Cecil Jee Thomas - who is well known by a certain James Hill and who is optimistic heading into this encounter. Can and more importantly will Iraola want to ruin the title charge so well managed by his friend and fellow Basque manager Mikel Arteta or will Arteta outfox the new kid on the block?Let us know your thoughts below.🍒 Questions? We are back to home comforts this weekend as we welcome Brighton and Hove Albion to Dean Court, a side who have done fantastically well under Roberto De Zerbi and even beat the likes of Ajax, Marseille, AEK Athens and AS Roma on an impressive European journey.AFC Bournemouth and Andoni Iraola can draw comparisons in how our club is being ran to our friends down the South Coast. Brighton have been built on shrewd signings, bringing in young stars before selling for a profit under inspirational chairman Tony Bloom. We welcomed on leading Brighton YouTuber  @LUKELiNXBRIGHTON  to find out more about how the Seagulls have soared and achieved massive success. With the sides swapping places midweek, can the Cherries regain control?🍒 Questions? Craig and Mani are back as we once again go Cherry Picking covering the most important topics in the Premier League this week. Firstly we cover our games against Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers and ask about Gary O'Neil's comments. Misjudged or fair? VAR correct call?We then look at the other massive story which included Nottingham Forest caused a Twitter (or less commonly known by Elon Musk's new name X) meltdown by telling us Stuart Attwell is a Luton Town fan! We review the decisions that went against Forest in their 2-0 defeat to Everton and ask if they have a case and if the inconsistency is killing the integrity of the competition.Let us know what you think...In the words of Mark Clattenburg - TWITTER READY! Following our game at Villa Park , we travel to Wolverhampton to take on former manager Gary O'Neil and his Wolves side who have been fantastic so far this season but it could have been even better with many sources saying they have lost as many as 11 points through awful decisions - which if they had gained, they would currently sit in 6th spot.We welcomed on Johnny Phillips from Sky Sports to discuss Wolverhampton Wanderers and the side, the early loss of top winger Pedro Neto and how Gary has adapted, the cruel and nasty abuse Gary O'Neil suffered and why he has proved everyone wrong and the decisions that have gone against our former boss.Let us know what you think the score will be and if Wolves have been treated harshly this term.🍒 Questions? Craig and Mani are back as we review the recent draw against Manchester United. But following another turbulent week in the top flight we look at whether Richard Masters knows what he is doing. We cover everything from the Everton and Nottingham Forest situations, the failure to hit Manchester City and Chelsea with the same brush, the VAR errors and refereeing mishaps which Wolves in particular have fallen foul of, Profit and Sustainability and now the situation with the FA Cup.We look at the situation and ask how can it be fixed and does Masters needs to go.🍒 Questions? The Premier League along with the English Football Association have announced that they are to scrap FA Cup Replays, make sure that games don't interrupt the Premier League fixtures and all games are on weekends... why is this?Of course, Richard Masters has got together with the FA's Mark Bullingham to push through these plans to help the countries elite whilst forgetting about the likes of Blyth Spartans, Frome Town, Bracknell Town & Maidenhead United. Whilst giving just £33 Million more. Its obscene, its greed and its ruining the integrity of the sport we love.We ask for Masters to resign again as he continues to run a mockery of our national sport and ask for things to return to what they once were! Are these plans good or do you agree with us. After the contentious decisions in our last outing against Manchester United in which we should have had a last minute penalty (if it was not for the terrible performance of the referee and VAR), we travel to Villa Park to take on an Aston Villa side who are sitting in fourth. The Villa faithful are hoping they continue to Keep On Movin' towards Europe under Unai Emery - a fellow Basque Country manager and friend of Andoni Iraola. We have another very special guest. Craig Beazley is joined by Ritchie Neville from the band Five who had a number of hits during the 90's and early 00's with the likes of Slam Dunk (Da Funk), Everybody Get Up, Lets Dance and lots more!We spoke to Ritchie about how he became an Aston Villa fan, how he joined the band, reaching Number 1 and performing with Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor at the BRIT awards in 2000.We also discussed Rock in Rio in 2001, the band disbanding, Ritchie's new venture with Liam Keegan - The 998 and loads more. And is it true that the song Baby One More Time could have actually been on the album 5ive instead of being the debut single for Britney Spears in 1999?Ritchie also discusses his favourite Villa players and the tremendous job that Unai Emery is doing this season and also discusses Profit & Sustainability Rules - also known as the dreaded PSR - and the effect it could have at Villa Park and why its not fair that Everton and Nottingham Forest are being hit but Manchester City and Chelsea get away free!Enjoy this interview with one of the band members of one of Britains biggest boy bands of the 90's and 00's!Thank you to Ritchie for his time and for joining us on this interview.🍒 Questions? We can all take defeats when your team hasn't played well. We can also take draws when that is the result we deserve. However AFC Bournemouth deserved all three points against Erik ten Hag and his Manchester United side. However the Premier League, terrible refereeing from Tony Harrington and VAR thought differently as they turned down a Cherries penalty appeal (which wasn't a penalty) against Harry Maguire, gave Manchester United a penalty after Adam Smith was adjudged to handle the ball (which he didn't and wasn't a penalty) and then overturned the right decision given by the referee via VAR in stoppage time! There was also another penalty shout against Ryan Christie which again the official didn't give and which was judged to be simulation (it wasn't) which resulted in bookings for Christie and Lewis Cook who tried to explain the situation to our clueless official. No wonder managers like Gary O'Neil are so wound up by poor officiating in the top flight. And Mark McAdam from Sky Sports News put it perfectly in his Tweet on X (or Twitter) afterwards.Richard Masters (as well as resigning for his shambolic handling of the Everton and Nottingham Forest situations) needs to look at the refereeing in the top flight which isn't even worthy of the lower reaches of the English Pyramid.Let us know your thoughts. Were we robbed? Or was it decent officiating (please explain if you think this as I don't think anyone can agree)? Is the Premier League Corrupt?🍒 Questions? Next up following our 2-1 defeat at Kenilworth Road is a visit from Manchester United and Erik ten Hag who the Cherries beat 3-0 at Old Trafford in one of the most memorable matches EVER in the Premier League.United have been inconsistent and the weight of expectation has been there that Erik ten Hag needed to get it right or get out! But how do the Red Devils return to their former glories and how hard will it be to turn round one of the biggest clubs in world football?Happy Mondays drummer Gaz Whelan joined Craig Beazley to do just that but also cover his career with the band, the mayhem that use to follow them, the successes and also the low points and of course the memories of the great Paul Ryder who sadly passed in 2022.During the interview we discuss the Paul Ryder Tapes which are essential listening for all Happy Mondays and music fans. During this show we look at the Championship Promotion Battle which Leicester City should have won long ago, Leeds United were expected to win and Ipswich Town have shocked everyone by being in! Oh and Mr Ryan Fraser and Southampton aren't worth mentioning as they are pretty much out of it. Plus who can survive when they go up?We also look at the recent game between Luton Town and AFC Bournemouth and what went wrong and a look to the Manchester United and Aston Villa games. We also discuss PSR (zzz) and whether Arsenal can win the league this time around despite Klopp leaving Liverpool.Let us know what you think and let us know your Championship predictions...🍒 Questions? There are some guarantees in life. Death. Taxes. And Protection for the top six in the Premier League.Serie A had several issues with finances and resulted in the relegation of some massive clubs and therefore the value of their league has diminished in the past few years.Whilst some clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea of course, won't be subject to this as it makes the Prem too much money, making an example of the Toffees is seen as something which doesn't really matter. In this video we discuss what is going on at Goodison Park as well as Nottingham Forest and Leicester City and ask the question - do the Premier League really care?Let us know what you think...🍒 Questions? Luton Town have been fighting, battling valiantly against the drop this season in the Premier League. The team promoted last season via the Championship Playoffs in an epic penalty shootout against Coventry City haven't found it that easy in the top flight. But one thing they have shown in every single game is grit, determination, a willingness to run through walls. However cast your mind back to 2008 and it was a very different picture. AFC Bournemouth sat on Minus 17 along with Rotherham United. Whereas Saturday's hosts were sat on a ridiculous Minus 30. It proved too much as the Hatters were relegated from the Football League for the first time in their history. One man knows a lot about that journey. That is former Chairman and TV Legend Nick Owen. In his own words, Nick explains the pride of how the side have played this season despite a horrendous injury crisis capable of derailing any clubs season. We also discussed Rob Edwards and Tom Lockyer and the unbreakable bond between the two clubs. Nick also touches upon overcoming his own recent health struggles and everyone at UTCIAD and AFC Bournemouth wishes Nick the very best for the future. Please enjoy this interview with one of Britain's best loved TV Presenters. To watch our previous interview with Nick please visit here - https://youtu.be/zhdhD2SAITM?si=iq7c6...🍒 Questions?
