Description

A movie themed podcast hosted by Brandon and Kelee Russ, with the occasional guest. Brandon is the resident movie nerd, and Kelee is his less movie inclined wife. Of course we can’t forget our noisiest member, Sir Reginald Jalapeño Cheeto Russ, our loving cat. We’ll talk about all sort of movies, but steer clear of any bad language.

In this episode Brandon recaps what is his current favorite movie of the year, Godzilla x Kong. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter!
It's been far too long, but here's a fun solo episode where I go over my biggest 2024 Oscar nomination snubs. I should've done this last year for all the great 2022 horror. Fair warning, I got sick at ComicCon, so my voice sounds awful halfway through.
In this episode Brandon recaps the dark zombie romance of Return of the Living Dead III. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter.
In this episode, Kelee and Brandon are joined by their friend Amber as they discuss the animated amazement that is How to Train Your Dragon. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter.
In this episode Brandon talks about two post-apocalyptic martial arts films from the $1 section, and that are worth at least twice that. This is going to be a start of a new series on cheesy/unknown/forgotten films, that Brandon likely will be doing solo. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter.

Goodbye, 2023! In this episode, Brandon and Kelee discuss our favorite first watches of the year, as well as out top 12 films released in 2023 (with a few honorable mentions as well) This has been a really fun year for starting a new hobby, and I am so thankful to all our listeners for joining along with. We hope that you all have a wonderful 2024!
In this episode, Brandon is joined by his mom as they discuss Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. There was a bunch of technical difficulties, but I managed to work around them. Unfortunately, my mom's phone quality is bad, so the sound is a bit off. Either way, it was a lot of fun discussing this classic Jim Henson special. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter here.
When the chance to go to a triple feature at the theater gets ruined by rain and a missing headlight, Brandon and Kelee decide to host their own. We watched: Violent Night A Nutcracker Scoob Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman
In the first ever video recorded episode, Brandon gives a presentation to his friends about Christmas movies. Given that I don't know how to edit video, you'll finally realize that I'm actually pretty awkward, and sometimes run out of breath when I'm talking a lot about things I love. Hopefully this works to be played on Spotify, if not then I will try uploading just the straight audio again. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter.
Brandon and Kelee discuss A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, as well as our favorite Thanksgiving food.
In our first interview episode, Brandon and Elijah LaFollette discuss the latter's work of Magnetic Magic Rentals, and Analog Sunday. Follow Elijah on Instagram Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter and Tik Tok at @MovieGalaxyPod
In this episode, Brandon and Kelee are joined by friend Madison as they all discuss Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie! This movie is an absolute blast, and we had lots of fun talking about it. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter @MovieGalaxyPod
In this episode Brandon and Kelee discuss Nerd-O-Ween 9, a horror movie triple feature about history's ultimate bad guys getting whooped. Shoutout to Nightmare Junkhead Podcast for hosting this event. Follow us on Twitter, and Tik Tok at @MovieGalaxyPod
In this episode Kelee and Brandon discuss the anthology film, The Monster Club. It is definitely more silly than scary, but it's a real treat. Great way to start October! Follow Movie Galaxy at: Twitter Tik Tok Brandon's Letterboxd
In this short episode, Brandon talks about Hooptober, Argento's Dracula, and Stage Fright (2014) Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter. Follow Movie Galaxy on Tik Tok. Follow Brandon's Hooptober X.

In this episode Brandon is joined by an old college buddy, Evan, as they discuss the 1973 French animated film, Fantastic Planet. Also known as La Planète Sauvage, this is a bizarre and thought provoking film. This was recorded over two days, which is why the sound is slightly different near the end when we discuss themes. It's been a while, but we're back. For our return, we went with an absolute fever dream of a film, House (Hausu). This is definitely one of those ones where you need to watch the film beforehand to really understand how weird it is. Follow Movie Galaxy on Twitter at @MovieGalaxyPod.
Brandon, Bryan, and Dylan discuss movies that scared us as kids. Be sure to stick around after the main part to hear some potential episode ideas coming up in the future. (Also, this episode was originally recorded a few weeks ago, so that explains the weird timeline). (Also also: Going by everything I’ve read, this podcast counts as a movie critic, and therefore isn’t breaking any of the rules of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike. Movie Galaxy fully stands behind the strike, and the belief that everyone, from the biggest stars to the blink-and-you-miss-it extras, to the writers, set designers, and whatever a best boy is, EVERYONE deserves a living wage, and respect for their craft.). Brandon is joined by a special new guest, his father, as they discuss Independence Day movies! Please excuse the audio difficulties, as this software making editing tricky. There was an abrupt cut as well before the last film gets mentioned. Also, this episode gets a little dark at some points, and a bit political. Just a fair warning.
