Liverpool stumbled to a draw with West Ham at the weekend, which was so disappointing after going ahead in the game. Slightly more positive than after the derby, but some of the same issues reared their head again. Feel like we've had this exact conversation a few times in recent weeks, but this was rock bottom. To not turn up for a derby, in a title race, is unforgivable. There is nothing positive right now, the season is going to end with a whimper, as opposed to what could have been. That was diabolical. Hands down the single worst performance under Jurgen Klopp. It's our worst performance in probably 15 years. This was Roy Hodgson's Liverpool. There aren't enough bad words to describe just how bad we were. Credit to Atalanta, executed their gameplan perfectly, outfought us, outbattled us, wanted it more. Deserved their win. HUGE job next Thursday now, but not before we have to try and pick ourselves up for Palace at the weekend. Enjoy (if you can)

The performance was brilliant, the result was a bit of a disappointment in the end. We produced probably our best 45 minutes of the season on Sunday, and on another day, we blow them away. The title race is heading to the wire, and we're right in there. It was a great day for the reds at Anfield South, as we beat Chelsea to win the Carabao Cup for a record extending 10th time
We discussed that game, plus the win over Southampton to take us to the quarter finals of the FA Cup, in what has turned into an incredible week for our young reds!

A second 4-1 win in 4 days sees the reds move 4 clear of City at the top once again. Lots of injuries meant a less familiar first XI, but they got the job done, and can look forward to Wembley now! End of the podcast is a bit of a car crash on this occasion, so apologies for that!

It was not a good performance, Arsenal were by far the better team on the day, and got the 3 points their performance deserved. Well, this wasn't what I had on my bingo card for January 2024! Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will be leaving Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2023/24 season. There will be a time to reflect and thank him for his time at the club, but it's too raw at the minute. Everything seems bleak at the thought of him not being there next season. But we will plod on, and we need to back the team more than ever, so that Klopp leaves, on the highest of high notes.
