It's nearly time to say goodbye. Sunday, many of us are going to be an emotional wreck. West Ham Review

West Ham Review

Liverpool stumbled to a draw with West Ham at the weekend, which was so disappointing after going ahead in the game. Slightly more positive than after the derby, but some of the same issues reared their head again. We discussed that, plus talked about the latest news around the club, spoke about the imminent arrival of Arne Slot, and looked ahead to the Spurs game. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Feel like we've had this exact conversation a few times in recent weeks, but this was rock bottom. To not turn up for a derby, in a title race, is unforgivable. There is nothing positive right now, the season is going to end with a whimper, as opposed to what could have been. We discussed the disgraceful display in the derby, and also talked a little about the new potential manager, Arne Slot. (Try to) Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Reds Return to Winning Ways

Reds Return to Winning Ways

Doing my very best to take some kind of positive from the Atalanta 2nd leg, we are now 2 wins on the spin after a difficult period. We discussed the game against Atalanta, the game against Fulham, and looked ahead to the Derby this week. Lots to discuss, enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Another poor performance overall, leads to another defeat at Anfield. The fact that Arsenal also lost at the weekend was the only saving grace. We discussed that game, and what our chances are in the return game with Atalanta. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
That was diabolical. Hands down the single worst performance under Jurgen Klopp. It's our worst performance in probably 15 years. This was Roy Hodgson's Liverpool. There aren't enough bad words to describe just how bad we were. Credit to Atalanta, executed their gameplan perfectly, outfought us, outbattled us, wanted it more. Deserved their win. HUGE job next Thursday now, but not before we have to try and pick ourselves up for Palace at the weekend. Enjoy (if you can) Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
The performance for the most part was there, we just shot ourselves in the foot second half. It means it's no longer in our hands, unless we have some crazy swing in the goal difference. All we can do is win our games and see what happens. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Quinny is joined by Nima Tavallaey from The Italian Football Podcast, to discuss the upcoming games with Atalanta, get an idea of how their season is going, who the danger men are, what Atalanta need to do to get a positive result, and also briefly discuss Roberto De Zerbi, who of course has been linked with the Liverpool job to replace Jurgen Klopp. Enjoy! *Intro is in reference to being on zoom and nothing to do with the performance* Been a solid, if, unspectacular week for the reds, as we recorded wins over Brighton and Sheff Utd to stay top of the league. We spoke about both games, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, the rest of the league campaign, and looked ahead to the trip to Old Trafford. Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. We took a week off to calm down, and it worked! A level headed look back at the game at Old Trafford, some talk about the legends game, some mad tangents went on. Standard episode really! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
The performance was brilliant, the result was a bit of a disappointment in the end. We produced probably our best 45 minutes of the season on Sunday, and on another day, we blow them away. The title race is heading to the wire, and we're right in there. We discussed the game and certain performances, spoke a little about Michael Edwards, and looked ahead to the second leg with Sparta Prague, and the FA Cup quarter final against United! Enjoy! Episode 100

We celebrate getting to episode 100 with a bang, as we discussed the late win over Forest, and look ahead to the huge, potentially season defining, game against City at the weekend. We also discussed the game vs Sparta Prague briefly too! Few technical issues with this one, so apologies for that, but hope you enjoy it regardless! Here's to the next 100! It was a great day for the reds at Anfield South, as we beat Chelsea to win the Carabao Cup for a record extending 10th time We discussed that game, plus the win over Southampton to take us to the quarter finals of the FA Cup, in what has turned into an incredible week for our young reds! Enjoy! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
A second 4-1 win in 4 days sees the reds move 4 clear of City at the top once again. Lots of injuries meant a less familiar first XI, but they got the job done, and can look forward to Wembley now! End of the podcast is a bit of a car crash on this occasion, so apologies for that! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
Liverpool overcame a resilient Burnley at Anfield, to maintain our 2 point lead at the top of the table. We discussed the win, plus talked about the injuries to Trent & Thiago, Sven Goran Eriksson being named part of the management team for the upcoming legends game and more. Enjoy Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
It was not a good performance, Arsenal were by far the better team on the day, and got the 3 points their performance deserved. It's a blow to our title hopes, but we're still top, and now have 15 cup finals remaining. We're in for one final rollercoaster ride with Jurgen at the helm, strap yourselves in! It's been a week since Jurgen broke all our hearts, but in the 2 games that have followed, the reds have looked unbelievable. We talked about the Norwich game (not that Jay could remember much of it), the Chelsea game, Conor Bradley, Darwin Nunez and looked ahead to the huge game against Arsenal on Sunday! Well, this wasn't what I had on my bingo card for January 2024! Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will be leaving Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2023/24 season. There will be a time to reflect and thank him for his time at the club, but it's too raw at the minute. Everything seems bleak at the thought of him not being there next season. But we will plod on, and we need to back the team more than ever, so that Klopp leaves, on the highest of high notes. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
