The brilliant Susie McCabe joined us in the studio recently to share her take on the latest happenings at Celtic in what’s been a truly chaotic season. In a wide-ranging conversation, we dive into her Celtic upbringing, her journey into the world of comedy, and the two heroes who’ve played a huge role in shaping who she is today. It’s a discussion that - in no particular order - takes in school football, socialist values, and sell-out tours. And Susie doesn’t stop there. Following her own winning appearance on Celebrity Mastermind, she steps into the spotlight once again - this time taking the chair in the inaugural Celtic Exchange Mastermind Challenge! *This episode was first released on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel on 5th February 2026 🆕 Start you FREE 7 Day Trial of the Celtic Exchange on Patreon at https://patreon.com/celticexchange 🍀 More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic ================= 🌈 You'll also hear Susie speak of her passion for TIE Scotland (Time For Inclusive Education) and you can find out more about the organisation here https://tie.scot 🎭 And for tickets for Susie's run of upcoming shows - final tickets remaining for Glasgow Comedy Festival shows on 27th/28th March! - and all other info visit https://susiemccabe.com Learn more about your ad choices. Defeat to Hibs has made Celtic’s title push that little bit more complicated, but with 11 games and 33 points still up for grabs, this race is far from run. There’s work to do, and concerns remain about the current squad - but it’s still all to play for. It was a setback, no doubt, yet incredibly it was Martin O’Neill’s first domestic defeat since returning this season. If anything he’ll be more determined than ever to get our challenge back on track in the games ahead. Next up - four tricky away days: Stuttgart, Rangers, Aberdeen, then Rangers again. A defining run of fixtures and one which will go a long way to determining the success of this season. Off the pitch, the standoff between the club and the Celtic Fans Collective drags on, with recent meetings producing few signs of progress. A breakthrough remains the hope but the longer it takes, the more it may be too little, too late – at least in terms of salvaging something tangible from this season! 🎙️ Join Tino, Paddy & James as they cover all of the above and more in this latest episode of Celtic Exchange Weekly. ================== 🆕 Start you FREE 7 Day Trial of the Celtic Exchange on Patreon at https://patreon.com/celticexchange 🍀 More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic Learn more about your ad choices. Julian Araujo becomes the latest Celtic signing to score a dramatic late winner, coming hot on the heels of his new pals Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Junior Adamu doing the same, and it's a goal which fires us right into the mix in this topsy turvy title race. Martin O'Neill's own impressive league record over two interim spells now stands at ten wins and one draw from eleven games (no losses!) and with a game in hand the Bhoys are sitting in a solid position with twelve games now remaining. The manager now has some massive calls to make - especially in midfield - with some vital games on the horizon across league and cup competitions, with German cracks Stuttgart next on the agenda. This wild season of Celtic's continues, and we could be set for another huge seven days, on and off the park. 🎙️ Join James, Paddy & Brydo as they cover all of the above and more in this latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. ============ 🍀 Get even more from Celtic Exchange each and every week on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel ➕ More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. We’ll look back on the chaos of this season for years to come and wonder just how so much drama unfolded both on and off the park. We'll hopefully never experience another campaign like it - but there’s still scope for Martin O’Neill and the Bhoys to turn turmoil into triumph. This week we break down the January transfer business and ask the big question: will the work be enough to carry us over the line? Is the arrival of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain a desperate roll of the dice - or a potential game-changer for the months ahead? And in the aftermath of “The Boycott,” we also explore what a realistic path forward might look like between club and supporters as tensions continue. Is there a solution staring at us right now that works for everyone and helps get things back on track? Finally, we preview a defining run of fixtures - including four away games on the spin - that should reveal everything about the character and capability of this new-look Celtic squad. 🎙️ Join Tino, Mif, Paddy & James as they tackle all this and more in the latest episode of Celtic Exchange Weekly. ============ 🍀 Get even more from Celtic Exchange each and every week on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel ➕ More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. As has become customary, Celtic have once again taken deadline day right down to the wire, leaving supporters anxiously awaiting confirmation of the club’s January business. Martin O’Neill has already hinted that late arrivals are on the cards, so now it’s a case of trusting his judgement - alongside Shaun Maloney - and hoping any final additions can give the squad the lift it needs in the push for a fifth consecutive title. While much of the spotlight has been on potential incomings, there’s been late drama on the outgoing front too. Nottingham Forest have seen a last-ditch attempt to lure Arne Engels away from Parkhead knocked back, with a bid in the region of £25 million firmly rejected. Turning down an offer that would have doubled the outlay on the club’s record signing is a bold stance, but hopefully one that pays dividends as Engels and his teammates look to finish the season with silverware. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Paddy & Mif on the latest Celtic Exchange Weekly as they break down all of this and more, during the closing hours of the January transfer window. ============ 🍀 Get even more from Celtic Exchange each and every week on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel ➕ More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. In exactly one week’s time we’ll know just how much ambition the Celtic board have for this season. We’ll know just how willing they’ve been to back returning hero Martin O’Neill. And we’ll know just how willing they are to show the fans that they should be taken seriously as a genuinely progressive football club. Because of recent, evidence of this has been scarce and once again the pressure is on this Celtic board to deliver. On the park we’ve seen back to back 2-2 draws for O’Neill’s side, but we remain right in the mix – both in Europe and domestically. Back the man accordingly and let’s see where we land between now and May. 🎙️ Join Tino, James & Brydo as they cover all of the above and more in the latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. ============ 🍀 Get even more from Celtic Exchange each and every week on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel ➕ More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. Since returning once again as Interim Manager, Martin O’Neill has guided Celtic to three wins from three. However, despite those result, there is absolutely no escaping the fact that reinforcements are needed - and urgently - if success is to follow between now and the end of the season. A brilliant manager he may be, but a magician he is not. That reality comes into even sharper focus this week, with two pivotal fixtures of very different kinds on the horizon. First comes the midweek trip to Italy to face Bologna in Europa League action, followed by Sunday’s visit to Tynecastle - a fixture many will regard as a must-win against the league leaders. Should O’Neill manage to grind out two big results, it would represent a huge step in the right direction. Let's just hope the steps he has to take beyond that are with a couple of extra options at his disposal in the first-team squad. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Paddy & Mif as they cover all of the above and more on the latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. ============ 🍀 Get even more from Celtic Exchange each and every week on the Celtic Exchange patreon Channel ➕ More Podcasts | More Reaction | More Celtic 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. It took far longer than Martin O'Neill would have hoped, but Celtic eventually saw off the challenge of Auchinleck Talbot thanks to goals from Johnny Kenny and Sebastian Tounekti at Rugby Park. The Bhoys now take their place in the Fifth Round of this season's Scottish Cup with a home tie against Dundee and that's the most important thing, but there's no doubt O'Neill would have been hoping for far more from the various fringe players who started this one. However a win's a win and that's bnow three in three since MON returned, and we can now look ahead to two huge challenges in the shape of Bologna and Hearts in the week ahead! 🎙️ Join Tino & Paddy LIVE* on the Final Whistle following Celtic's Scottish Cup Fourth Round win over Auchinleck Talbot. *This episode was first streamed LIVE on the Celtic Exchange Patreon Channel at 8.15pm on Sun 18th January. The game's been switched to Rugby Park and Martin O'Neill will be hoping to make it three wins on the spin against tricky opposition. But... the most important thing is that Martin O'Neill's side once again found a way to win, as the Bhoys took all 3 points to keep up the pressure at the top of the table. It was Benji Nygren once again with the all important goal - his 12th of the season - as Celtic continue to get back on track from what's been a disjointed campaign so far. There's absolutely no doubt though that this side does NOT have the quality and depth to win this title, and so once again it's all eyes on the club to do the right thing by supporting the manager this January transfer window... 🎙️ Join Tino & Joe for The Final Whistle LIVE* as they bring you all the big talking points from Celtic's Scottish Premiership win over Falkirk at The Falkirk Stadium! *This episode was first streamed LIVE on our Patreon Channel at 9.45pm on Wednesday 14th January Learn more about your ad choices. Just seven days ago we were preparing for Celtic Exchange Weekly with both Wilfried Nancy and Paul Tisdale firmly in place at Celtic, and a whole lot of concern for how the season was going to play out. Fast forward to now, Martin O’Neill’s back at the helm, Celtic are back winning matches and we now face the closing months of the season with renewed optimism as a result. O’Neill’s return isn’t a magic wand for the club’s various other problems, but his presence is a galvanising one, and if anyone can get us back on track – on and off the park – then MON may be the man for the job. The backdrop of all of this of course is the ongoing January Transfer Window, which we’re now almost half way through. And while Julien Araujo’s loan arrival from Bournemouth is welcome there’s much to be done if we’re to give O’Nell the support needed to make a success of this campaign. 🎙️ Join Tino, James, Paddy & Asim as they cover the above and more in this latest Celtic Exchange Weekly. ==================== 🍀 Check out our Patreon for EXTRA content all throughout the week ⬇️ 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. The returning hero picked up exactly where he left off, guiding Celtic to a commanding 4–0 victory over Dundee United at Celtic Park. O’Neill knows the scale of the task ahead as he targets retaining the Scottish Premiership title, but this emphatic performance and scoreline served as a timely warning to both Hearts and Rangers with Celtic now very much back in the conversation following recent defeats. Four different goalscorers underlined the dominance, with Man of the Match Yang once again setting the tone by opening the scoring before the break 👀 Arne Engels, Benji Nygren and Daizen Maeda added further gloss, sending the crowd home happy, with fresh belief as to what the remainder of this season may bring. 🎙️ Join Tino & Paddy for The Final Whistle LIVE as Celtic roar back into contention and the latest Martin O’Neill era begins anew. *This episode was originally livestreamed on Celtic Exchange's Patreon Channel at 7pm on Saturday 10th of January. 🔗 https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. Celtic are back in Scottish Premiership action for the first time since Martin O'Neill's return with a vital three points at stake against Dundee Utd. The manager has some big calls to make as he aims to pick up a squad devoid of confidence following 6 losses in 8 under Wilfried Nancy, and it looks likely he'll revert back to a more traditional 4-3-3 style formation in the process. New Bhoy Julian Araujo could feature in a re-shuffled defence but as kick off approaches it's looking unlikely any striking enforcements - Kyogo Furuhashi or otherwise - will land in time for this one. 🎙️ Join Tino & Greg for the Countdown To Kick-Off LIVE* as they look ahead to this all important fixture as Celtic look to get back on track in the title race. *This episode originally aired on Friday 9th January at 5pm Learn more about your ad choices. Today delivered yet another incredible chapter in Celtic’s season of chaos, as Wilfried Nancy became the shortest-serving manager in the club’s history - lasting just 32 days after arriving from Columbus Crew. And if that wasn’t dramatic enough, news then broke DURING tonight’s recording that club legend Martin O’Neill is to return once again to steady the ship - for the second time this season. Add the removal of Head of Football Operations Paul Tisdale into the mix and it’s been a truly remarkable day in what’s already been an astonishing campaign. 🎙️ Join a full house of Tino, James, Paddy and Mif as they break down all the fallout in the latest episode of Celtic Exchange Weekly. --------------------------------- 🔗 Check out our Patreon for EXTRA content all throughout the week ⬇️ https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices. Following a promising first half it was a case of same old, same old, as Wilfried Nancy's side struggled to get going in the second 45, losing 3 cheap goals in to the bargain! 🍀 Enjoy this full episode and all our additional episodes on our Patreon channel at https://patreon.com/celticexchange =========================== Despite being in the role less than 4 weeks, Wilfried Nancy looks to be hanging on to his job by a thread following last night’s capitulation at the hands of Motherwell. The loss is his 5th in just 7 games at the helm and it now feels a very long way back for the Frenchman if he’s to somehow make a success of his time in Glasgow. Gone was the attacking intent that we’d seen glimpses of in recent games, replaced by a group of players who simply look lost under his guidance. The defeat rounds off a miserable year all round for the club, with the 17th defeat of the calendar year epitomising just where we find ourselves at this moment in time. 🎙️ Join Tino & Asim for this one as they rake over the coals of Celtic’s final outing of 2025! Celtic head into a huge week with the chance to close out 2025 on a high - starting with a crucial win against Motherwell - before ushering in the New Year with a derby showdown against Rangers. Pulling off wins in both would be a major boost for Wilfried Nancy, as the Frenchman looks to rebuild belief among the support and guide us back to the top of the table after a challenging start to his reign. Off the pitch, the January transfer window looms large. It’s a golden opportunity for the club to correct mistakes from recent windows - and, just as importantly, to show genuine backing for Nancy. But will they act decisively? And will Paul Tisdale still be in place as Head of Football Operations to oversee what could be a defining month? These next few weeks promise to be pivotal for Celtic, on and off the park. 🎙️ Join a full house of Tino, James, Mif & Paddy as they tackle all of this and more in the final Celtic Exchange Weekly of 2025. --------------------- 🍀 Enjoy even more from Celtic Exchange - including this year's "Bag Of Cans" special - at https://patreon.com/celticexchange Learn more about your ad choices.
