Description

The Let Me Ask You This with Ebie Hepworth is an altar of conversations—a gathering of souls unafraid to admit they don’t have it all sorted, yet willing to hold up what they’re learning in the light of God’s grace. It’s a place where the raw edges of life are not smoothed over but embraced, where black-and-white certainties give way to the sacred gray. Here, in the in-between, we uncover how Jesus steps into the mess, holding our questions and leading us into His peace—steadfast, unshaken, and infinitely kind.

In this week’s episode on Let Me Ask You This, Zac joins me for a rapid-fire conversation answering marriage questions you all sent in over Instagram. We talk honestly about what we are still learning after more than a decade married and how marriage is less like a finished structure and more like a living thing that keeps evolving, stretching, and maturing over time. We unpack the importance of your individual pursuit of Jesus, the way you honor one another, and the way you lay your life down for your spouse quietly shapes the atmosphere your family grows up inside of. We did not get to answer even a fraction of the questions we received, so please let us know if you would like a part II to this episode!
In this episode of Let Me Ask You This, I sit down with my dear friend Peter Mutabazi, known to many online as Foster Flipper. Peter’s story is one that stretches the imagination of what love, obedience, and the gospel can look like when lived out in everyday life.Peter shares his journey from growing up as a vulnerable child on the margins of Uganda to becoming a father who has fostered over 48 children, adopted three, and is currently in the process of completing additional adoptions. What began with the kindness of one stranger completely changed the trajectory of his life and opened his eyes to the reality of the gospel in action. In our conversation, Peter unpacks what the words of Jesus mean to him: “To whom much is given, much is required.” He shares how that truth has shaped the way he lives, fathers, and serves families walking the road of foster care and adoption.Peter is also the founder of the Now I Am Known Foundation, where he continues to advocate for children and equip families stepping into the foster and adoption space. But beyond the titles and the platform, Peter is simply a father who has chosen to make room at his table again and again.I am so grateful for Peter and his powerful testimony. My hope is that this conversation encourages you and reminds you of the incredible impact that one act of kindness can have on a life.

This week on The Let Me Ask You This Podcast are two dear friends of mine, Becca Biazon and Shifa Malfitano. Together, we unpack the idea of gifts, what they’re for, and why we’ve been given them. Ultimately communion will always supersede “calling.” These two friends mean the world to me and I know after listening to this episode you’ll see why. ALSO, Becca’s dad, Ryan also recently released a devotional called “Nudgings” that we mentioned in this episode! I have been going through it the past few weeks and it’s beautiful. Each word becomes an invitation into curiosity instead of certainty, connection instead of division, understanding instead of assumption. Be sure to get your copy today!
In this episode, I sit down with pastor, speaker, writer, and disability advocate Shelbi Shutt—a woman whose life radiates the gospel. Shelbi was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, and her story of living faithfully, boldly, and joyfully inside that reality has reshaped the way I see weakness. Because of my own family’s journey with muscular dystrophy, our stories weave together in a way that feels sacred. In this episode we unpack everything from what it means to carry suffering without letting it define your identity to the nearness of God in the middle of it all. If you have ever wrestled with limitations, felt reduced to your diagnosis, your struggle, or your circumstance, or you are navigating a story you didn’t choose… You are going to feel profoundly seen in this conversation. ANDDDDD If this episode encourages you, would you share it with a friend? In this heartfelt episode, I sit down with my dear friend Chelsey Taylor to talk about one of the most tender topics of all—the ache for companionship and the tension of unfulfilled desire. Together, we unpack what it means to hold God-given dreams without losing heart when the waiting feels long and the answers seem silent.Chelsey vulnerably shares how she’s learned to look for arrows that point to hope instead of demanding explanations and answers—how to stay rooted in trust when nothing seems to move forward, and how to keep her heart open to beauty even in seasons of longing. If you’ve ever felt the weight of waiting or wondered what to do with the desire that won’t go away, this conversation is for you. I pray you feel seen, comforted, and reminded that hope is never wasted.

This week on the Let Me Ask You This Podcast, I sit down with my new precious friend, Kara Stout. Kara released her book, An Untroubled Heart, this past April and it's a beautiful book of prayers coupled with pieces of her story that speaks to believer wrestling with anxiety. I loved this conversation for so many reasons but what stands out the most is the beautiful way Kara shares her story and then invites listeners to pray scripture over their lives. Together we explore the rhythms that keep anxiety from narrating her story, and how she discerns the difference between a life that’s full and one that’s fraying. We talk about the fear of surrender, and how Scripture became her steady place in anxious moments. For the listener who feels shame for being anxious—even while deeply loving Jesus—Kara offers grace, wisdom, and a gentle reminder: peace isn’t the absence of trouble, it’s the presence of a Person.Be sure to grab her book An Untroubled Heart here!
