In this Episode Dr. Ilana Yurkiewicz, a physician at Stanford, shares how her residency experiences in primary care led her to pursue a career specializing in the care of cancer survivors. Dr. Yurkiewicz recalls a particular patient's story which inspired her and stuck with her, fueling a desire to help survivors overcome the obstacles that make their goals of returning to normalcy after treatment seem out of reach.
