It's here. Episode 100. Which works because...this is a long ass episode. Greg continues his "This or That Letterboxd" game with Ryan before Ryan discusses Leprechaun Returns. And then Greg talks about...Dreamcatcher?! Then, all of our thoughts, feelings, and problems with AEW Revolution. Tune in now to find out!
After a few weeks off, the boys are back and HYPED on Revolution. Greg kicks the show off with a fun Letterboxd themed game with Ryan, before Ryan discusses the (probably only?!) Irish giallo The Fantasist while Greg digs into his past and revisits a Hong Kong favorite with Fist of Legend. THEN...a quick Dynamite recap before jumping into the first AEW PPV of the year, this years Revolution. Who do we think will win, who will lose, where does it matter and JUST HOW LONG will that Mox/Takeshita match be? All that and MUCH more!
Only two weeks away from Revolution and we've got some serious storylines cooking up...but first! Ryan dives (it's a pun) into The Abyss and Greg revisits a fantasy classic with Conan the Barbarian. Then, the guys discuss the Colorado crowd, Penelope Ford's injury, the main title picture and so much more. Tune in now!
We hope you all had a lovely Valentine's Day because...Ryan saw Wuthering Heights and he's got THOUGHTS. Greg breaks from his Italian cinema dive and checks off a Michael Mann blindspot with Public Enemies. Then...Grand Slam! What did we think of the matches, where do we think these storylines with Revolution looming in the distance...and what does "light a candle" mean?! Tune in now to find out!
Before the guys get into the build to Grand Slam, Ryan discusses a Scorcese blind spot he finally checks off the list with Cape Fear and Greg continues his journey into Italian cinema if Fulci's Warriors of the Year 2072. Then, another banger episode of Dynamite. Tune in to see what the guys think of the title picture, the tag scene, and Danielson on commentary. All this and more!
What a jam packed episode of Dynamite; one that appears to be tapping into the cultural zeitgeist for all the right reasons. After Ryan discusses What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? and Greg continues his Italian horror streak with Lamberto Bava's Mask of Satan, the guys discuss what worked and what didn't in this episode of Dynamite. Spoiler: almost all of it worked because it was a great week for the flagship show.
Ryan is still on his sword and sorcery kick and Greg discusses the underseen '86 slasher Ghostfinder, all before a game of "GIALLO OR NOT?!" Then, the guys discuss both parts of the recent Maximum Carnage. How did we feel about the send off of ol' Powerhouse, the build at the beginning of the year, and that title defense? Tune in to find out!
Hey, less than 2 weeks into 2026 and we managed to get our "Best Of" list and Top 10 together, that's not too shabby. First, Ryan dives back into the sword and sorcery well with The Iron Warrior before Greg discusses the 4K release of the John Woo classic Hard Boiled. Then, the guys get into their own Top 10 AEW wrestlers of the year and a whole slew of other awards. Did your favorites win? Did they even make the list? Find out now!
It's Thursday...and the boys are both finally back for Dynamite, and it feels good! Unlike Superman, according to Greg. But just like Red Sonja, if Ryan has anything to say about it. Then...JR returns to commentary, Andrade returns to wrestling, and MJF returns to his old gimmicks. Do we like all of it? None of it? Any of it? Tune in to find out!
Holy smokes...it's the kickoff to season three of The Clean Finish Podcast and we're dropping a Megasode on you! But...not about wrestling. Not YET. Greg and Ryan go down the list of their top 10 movies of 2025, discuss some movies they missed, and some movies that just missed the list. How does their list stack up to your own?! Tune in to find out!
The final PPV of the year is here, as well as the 90th episode of the pod, and the last episode of season 2 and 2025 for The Clean Finish Podcast! Ryan touches on Blue Moon, Linklater's second flick of the year, and Greg briefly mentions If I Had Legs I'd Kick You before diving into the new Apple+ series, Pluribus. Then...it's time for World's End! Our predictions were so wrong yet so right; some conclusions were right but how we got there were off and other matches we miffed altogether. But did we love it? Tune in to find out!
Before jumping into our thoughts and feels about the last AEW PPV of the year 2025, Ryan discusses TWO movies, both by Rob Reiner, and Greg dives into the sleeper Christmas classic, Eyes Wide Shut. Then! Thoughts on the C2, our Worlds End card, some disparate views on outcomes and few holiday hopeful predictions.
Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas! Greg and Ryan have decided to drop a megasode on you and cover THIRTY holiday movies across various genres: classic, family, and horror. Sure, they still talk about Romero's Pay the Piper novel and A Few Good Men up top (RIP Rob Reiner), but then they dive into a sleigh-full of movies to stuff in your stockings this holiday.
It's Thursday, and you know what that means: it's another episode of The Clean Finish Podcast, and it's Ho-Ho-Holiday Bash time with AEW Dynamite #324!
Greg discusses the MGM+ show FROM before getting into a festive episode of AEW Dynamite, which saw two Continental Classic matches, a contract signing, the reuniting of The Elite, a way-too-short 8-Woman Tag Team match and a Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal with...no MJF?
It's Thursday, and you know what that means: it's another episode of The Clean Finish Podcast! This episode, Greg is flying solo as he discusses the family comedy 'Getting Even with Dad' before talking about the annual 'Winter is Coming', which saw the crowning of the first Women's Tag Team Champions, as well as one hell of a barn burner between Kyle Fletcher and Mike Bailey!
It's been a while! But we're back and here to discuss the Full Gear card but not until we first talk about a whole bunch of other things like: Hip Hop (And Other Things), The Haunting, Nouvelle Vague, new movies, and Ted Danson. Then, the guys break down the entire card of Full Gear and what matches they're stoked on, which matches they are tired of, and which ones they're cautiously optimistic about.
Wow, Greg watched a lot of movies! He touches on Behind the Mask, Host, and even V/H/S Halloween and then Ryan talks about D&D inspired cottage-core book Legends & Lattes. And then...that's right! WrestleDream 2025! What ultimately worked, what surprised us, and...where the fuck are things going?
Life is really being a b-word right now and as much as they tried, Ryan and Greg just couldn't get together for a Road to WrestleDream episode...BUT! Ryan still has a minisode with his predictions and the guys will be back detailing the full card after WrestleDream 2025!
Technical errors be damned, even though the guys lost the first session recording of this episode, they took some time off and returned for part two of their Halloween special. Before they continue their one-movie-per-year picks, picking back up in 2012, Ryan discusses new Grady Hendrix Witchcraft for Wayward Girls and Greg keeps up the creepy vibes with Winterbeast. Then...two hours of non-stop horror goodness.
Before tearing into ALL OUT 2025, Ryan discusses new Pete Davidson horror vehicle The Home and Greg loves on 1988's The Vanishing.
Then...IT'S ALL OUT. What matches did the guys think they would love and fell flat? What matches were approached with trepidation and won them over? And what kind of name is "The Demand?!"
