Siphelele Mnyande, known professionally as PdotO, is a South African rapper and songwriter. He has collaborated with various artists such as L-Tido, Chad Da Don, Reason, J.Smallz and Bongani Fassie. On 14 July 2017, he released his debut album Devilz Playground which featured vocalists and rappers such as J.Smallz, Kimosabe, Blaklez, Ginger Trill and Maggz.In 2018, both his acting and musical career further grew when he got a leading role in the State Theater production, Freedom the Musical which was directed by multi-award winning director, Aubrey Sekhabi. In the same year he released his second album titled, Under the Sun. He was also on the BET Africa Cyphers representing CapCity in 2018. Born Wambeswa Ikhona Pahlane in a small town called Ngqeleni in the Eastern Cape, Ikhona is a South African Afro-soul singer-song writer and creative. Her debut album titled Iyana was released on 18 June 2021 through Ndilive Music and it features guest appearances from fellow South African artists including Betusile Mcinga, Samke Mkhize, Lance Romeo and Salaman Mvalo. The 12 track album is set to take music lovers at large on a fulfilling musical journey that is captured through each lyric, melody and rhythm. The album showcases Ikhona’s gift of storytelling through her deeply thought-out lyrics and the use of her velvety bold voice that reaches to the depth of your soul. Ikhona writes her songs mostly in her native dialect isiXhosa and English . Her music is themed around telling authentic African stories, and gives an audience a beautiful insight of who she is as a writer and an important voice for this generation. On the 13th of September 2023 Ikhona dropped her sophmore album tittled Inani. This body of work captures the maturing trajectory of her artistry as she curates her writing and delivery of her music.
