Case and Cole bring to y'all yet another episode as Mizzou defeats Mississippi State Bulldogs 49-27 in the Faurot Field Finale for the 2025-2026 season. Ahmad Hardy had himself a historic day with 300 yards rushing on 25 carries against his home state. True freshman Quarterback Matt Zollers gets his first win as a starter at Mizzou, plus a whole pile of Defensive Turnovers from Missouri Natives Toriano Pride Jr. and Marvin Burks. The guys transition into an Oklahoma preview, and what it would mean for the Tigers to go to Norman and play spoiler for the Sooners playoff hopes. Lastly, Case unveils his Coaching Hot Board, amid all the swirling rumors that Coach Drinkwitz might leave for Missouri for Penn State. This comes at the topic of Drinkwitz discussing the lack of NIL funds being contributed from Fortune 500 companies within the Tigers footprint. Case and Cole give their thoughts fresh off the bye week, and welcome yet another tall task to Columbia, as the Missouri Tigers are set to square off against the #3 Texas A&M Aggies. True Freshman Matt Zollers will be leading the charge at Quarterback for Mizzou, after Beau Pribula went down with a season ending injury against Vanderbilt. Can the Tigers get back to their bread and butter in establishing the run early and often with Ahmad Hardy and Jamal Roberts? Defensively the Tigers need to just stick to what has been working, especially when dealing with dynamic players and dual threat Quarterbacks, such is the case with Texas A&M. Marcel Reed (Quarterback) is a dynamic, dual threat player and has the Aggies firing on all cylinders. With their sights solely set on the College Football Playoff, the Tigers are hoping to play a little bit of spoiler, and further their own chances of making the College Football Playoff. The guys also give some thoughts on Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz, and his name popping up on a lot of Coaching Vacancies across the SEC and Nationally. With Florida, Auburn, LSU and Arkansas all having head coaching vacancies, should Mizzou fans be worried that Drink is going elsewhere in the off season?Kickoff is set for 2:30pm Central Time and the game will air nationally on ABC. Case and Cole do things in reverse order this week and start with our preview first! The guys are joined by Joseph West (@josephwest21), subject matter expert and ball knower of all things related to the Vanderbilt Commodores. Looking ahead at the match up in Nashville, TN ahead of the first ESPN College Gameday visit in close to 20 years. Joseph breaks down both sides of the ball in this preview and gives us some insight to what to expect from Diego Pavia & company. The guys then shift gears and recap the double overtime thriller in Auburn, AL as Mizzou escapes with a 23-17 win at Jordan-Hare stadium. Case and Cole recap the Missouri Tigers gut wrenching loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide at Faurot Field. They discuss and address the concerns in play calling, why in the world Missouri got away from the running game with Ahmad Hardy, decision making by Beau Pribula and his report card mid-way through the season. The guys also discuss Missouri's first road trip of the season as they head south to the plains, continuing SEC play with the Auburn Tigers. Can the Tigers avoid the collapse in the first road trip of the season like they did against Texas A&M in College Station last year?Check out 573Tees8 Hitt Street Downtown Columbia'573tees.comBigfoot Wing Dustbigfootcomo@gmail.com
Case and Cole copy your Missouri Tigers (5-0), and return from the bye week with their crosshairs set on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama (4-1) coming off two impressive wins versus the Georgia Bulldogs and Vanderbilt Commodores. The Tigers are going to have their hands full for this one as Ty Simpson and the vaunted Alabama passing attack hope to come into Columbia and have success. But if Beau Pribula, Ahmad Hardy and the rest of the offense can have their way with time of possession, it may not give the Tide the chances their looking for. Can the Tigers prevail and continue with their sights set on the College Football playoffs? Or does Alabama come in and play home wrecker, adding to their already impressive resume?Support those that support us! Your Missouri Tigers kicked off SEC play vs the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia, Missouri. Mizzou gave everything the wanted to the Gamecocks in the ground game with another impressive performance by Ahmad Hardy and Co. Is it time to start having Heisman hopes for Hardy? Defensively the Tigers were led by Josiah Trotter and a very impressive defensive line. Secondary woes continue to be a concern, especially getting into league play. All credit due to LaNorris Sellers for hopefully helping our coaching staff fix some of the issues early in the season. Overall the Tigers get the win to start out 1-0 in SEC play and 4-0 overall. We wrap up the show with a little hot seat talk around the SEC, and speaking of hot, it's still too damn hot to deer hunt! The guys start off by recapping a dominant 52-10 Mizzou win over the Louisiana Rajun Cajun's at Faurot Field. Behind Ahmad Hardy's career high day of 250 yards on the ground, and impressive day by Beau Pribula and the rest of the Missouri Offense. Then transition into previewing the South Carolina Gamecocks. Does the Missouri Defense have to prepare for LaNorris Sellers, or are they prepping for Luke Doty to start? What about the dominant South Carolina Gamecock Defensive line vs the Mizzou Offensive Line?
