Description
As a company that makes and sells Danish design kitchens in 180+ stores in 13 countries, we think a lot about Danish design. In our first series, we’re going to be taking a closer look at Danish design - talking to designers, artists, activists and thinkers who will help us figure out where Danish design has been and where it’s headed.
So, if you’re curious about Danish design, come along for the ride.
Our feed also contains stories from some of our talented franchisees around Europe. If you're looking for a franchise opportunity with great products and lots of support, have a listen and get inspired.

Our latest kitchen is called Compose! It comes in 8 colours and has 8 different handle choices - that makes 64 possible combinations, so you can compose the kitchen that's right for you! We sat down with our Senior Concept Manager Helle Bjerre Drost to take a closer look at this design and how it came about.
Hans Thyge & Co has designed chairs and a dining table for our Kvik Living line of Danish design furniture. We talked with Hans Thyge and his lead designer Søren Stellfeld about how these new classics in the Danish design tradition came to life.
Award-winning Danish designer Rikke Frost is known for her furniture and lighting designs. We asked her if she would design a kitchen for us. Like Pippi Longstocking, she said, "I've never tried that before. I'll probably be good at it," and she designed Align for us here at Kvik. In this episode, we talk to her about Align, which we expect will set a new standard in Danish kitchen design.
In this palate cleanser, designed to wake up our feed again ahead of new episodes on Danish design, we sit down for a philosophical conversation about kitchens with Danish editorial cartoonist Jens Hage.

Thank you for coming with us on this journey through Danish design. One of the things that came up again and again in my conversations was the notion of co-creation. And what is co-creation, you ask?
