Agree with EVERYTHING you said. My biggest disconnect with today's wrestling, especially in the last 10 yrs is: How bookers especially in North America book heels/babyfaces from the Indies to the top dogs (WWE/AEW/Impact etc). It's f'n mind boggling. It's not just the bookers, also commentary, it's like they'll go out of their way to put over heelish acts (example: by having faces grab the tights or put their feet on the Ropes to win.. and the commentary will put it over as out smarting the heel) Also, since Tony loves his ratings, could you imagine the rating if it were done if it had a good build. But no, he books for pops or as WWE would say, 'it's about moments.' The story/build leads to the moment. Just doing 💩 on the fly doesn't equal a moment, because you're lazy at your job.
