Hi friends and welcome back! Today’s episode was a doozy to record… we faced many challenges and hurdles making this episode but it tied into what we wanted to share with you all this week. We share the battles we have been facing with spiritual warfare and how challenges in life can really ramp up when we grow closer to God and are on the cusp of something great. We also have a super candid conversation about our relationship with alcohol and weed. We dive into the insane deception around marijuana and our culture and share personal anecdotes into how destructive it can really be. We talk about the importance of being sober minded and alert and how our lives have been transformed as we’ve walked away from substances. We get especially raw and real in this episode as we share our revelations around these things. We hope you guys enjoy :) Connect with us on Instagram @narrowpathpod !
Hi friends! In today’s episode, we sit down and talk about the struggles of navigating friendship in a modern world that is so focused on “self.” We tell the story of our friendship, our incredible connection, and how we have nourished our relationship into a true sisterhood. We discuss the importance of godly friendships, praying for each other, and putting the Holy Spirit at the center of all of our relationships. We open up about times we have had our hearts broken by friends and how we have overcome that pain and avoided becoming jaded toward friendships. We also have a conversation about what it truly looks like to be on “The Narrow Path.” The path is called “narrow” for a reason, which means it can sometimes bring about loneliness and feeling different from everyone around you. We read about some instances in which Jesus faced isolation, abandonment, and betrayal, and how we can lean into Him for comfort and are never truly alone when we walk with Him.  We hope you guys enjoy this episode! Hello lovelies- WE’VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH! We are so excited to be back with all of you as we begin this next chapter of our podcast. We have a new fire under us and are going to be diving into real, raw, controversial topics while pursuing and uncovering the TRUTH at all costs.  In today’s episode, we share what we’ve been up to for the last 6 months. Megan is back in California, working her dream job and has recently given her life to God. Praise Jesus! Jensen and her husband moved to Florida, bought their first home, and are thriving as they establish roots and deepen their relationship and their faith. We talk about the lessons we learned from having to develop extreme patience and faith as we both faced challenge after challenge on the journey to get to the places we’re in today. Megan shares how she is leaning into the beauty of this chapter of singleness and not letting her worth be tied to a relationship. Jensen shares the work she’s putting in while she’s in a waiting period of experiencing intense baby fever but choosing not to become a mother just yet. We also touch on the beautiful power of friendship and the bond we’ve formed as we walk through life together.
Hello hello! In today’s episode, we discuss what true health means and how important it is to find balance between caring too much about your health and not caring enough! It can get easy to get carried away, especially in the toxic world we live in with chemicals and pesticides everywhere. But at a certain point, the neuroticism of worrying about every single thing we ingest can be worse for our health than just letting go and relinquishing control. We discuss the importance of trying our best to always improve while still being able to let our hair down and enjoy a cheese pizza once in a while. We also share life updates. Jensen has finally moved out of Georgia and Megan tells us about her very eccentric hobby collecting sea glass.
Welcome back listeners! In today’s episode, we discuss the collective energy of 2023 and how everyone we know seems to be in a state of limbo and transition. We have both had a challenging year full of countless unknowns and twists and turns. This has taught us that the only way to survive a time like this is to truly learn how to surrender, relinquish control, and be flexible to the path that God is taking us down. We also talk about how literally every moment in life is just a part of a chapter, and those chapters pass by incredibly quickly, so don’t underestimate the importance of slowing down and savoring your life.  We also talk about the decisions to quit our jobs and make ourselves uncomfortable in search of something more fulfilling. We discuss reconnecting with our inner creative selves after feeling like we had to shut that off for years due to operating in our masculine energies.  Finally, Megan shares with us her decision to be SOBER for an entire year. She inspires us to let go of past habits that aren’t serving us anymore and watch all the doors that will open up as a result.
Hello hello! In today’s episode, we talk about how to escape lack mentality once and for all and embrace a life of ABUNDANCE. As our society gets more and more expensive and competitive, it can feel impossible just to get by. Combine that with the fact that hustle and flex culture are EVERYWHERE, and we are constantly bombarded with images of people living seemingly lavish and incredible lifestyles, meanwhile you may be struggling just to pay your rent. We’re told that if we just WORK HARDER, maybe someday we can live an instagram-worthy life too. Our culture’s obsession with humble bragging and the legitimate hardships of our society can make us fall victim to lack mentality, depression, and feelings of unworthiness. All comparison leads to sorrow, especially when your life may not be where you want it to be. But you deserve to experience abundance, gratitude, and worthiness NOW, even if your life is far from perfect. Letting go of victimhood and embracing abundance will change your whole life and allow you to attract the positive things you desire. We discuss the things that challenge an abundance mindset and how we can overcome them. We also provide our most helpful tips for how we broke out of a victim mentality and stepped into a much more fulfilling way of life. We talk about the importance of self-confidence and self-mastery and encourage you to take your power back, say no to the comparison game, and decide once and for all that you are worthy of living the life you dream about.
Hi friends! In today’s episode, we have a candid discussion about embracing change, how to enter a new chapter with peace of mind, and how we have found the ultimate freedom in learning to relinquish control and surrender to the plans that God has for us. We dive into our battle to conquer our anxiety by learning to LET GO, which is ultimately leading us towards our most peaceful season of life yet. We are consciously moving into a season of serenity and are excited to share with you all how we activated the mindset shift it took to get here.  We also discuss the ever-present spiritual warfare that we are all fighting. Whether we choose to acknowledge it or not, spiritual warfare is real and it is happening. The mental illness, depression, anxiety, and self-sabotage that plague our generation is NOT a coincidence. We share with you how to take your power back and encourage you to fight for your sanity and your health in our fallen world and choose to turn away from the lies of our society.
Hello Hello! In this episode, we talk about the rat race that is corporate America and the dilemma we face on a daily basis between providing ourselves with stability and our burning desire to leave it all behind and chase freedom. We discuss how unhealthy our work culture is between cubicles, hideous commutes, and being bombarded with fluorescent lights all day and how we need to demand better for ourselves as a society. We also talk about how the school system has played into our insane hustle culture and we can’t help but feel like we’ve been lied to all of our lives. We share our perspectives on how comparison and LinkedIn played a role in us rushing to get a certain type of job that wasn’t necessarily what WE wanted but we did it subconsciously to feel “good enough” about ourselves. Finally, Megan shares her plan to escape her 9-5 in pursuit of a life that is aligned with her purpose in a very exciting and inspirational leap of faith.
